Hey, that's pretty good! :)

May I ask from which library your drum set sample comes from?

I like how all is clean and well balanced in the mix.

Was the vocals re-recorded or you used the vocals from the original?

The drum set is from my digital piano, Yamaha CVP-307.

The vocals are from the original. I did a good job extracting the vocals! I then used the acapella vocals into my mix.

I'm glad you guys liked it. This mix has a lot of dynamics compared to today's commercial music. It'll only get louder with much fewer dynamics in the future:mellow: This would only drive the mentality for young artists and the general population that loud with no dynamics = good :frusty:

The loudness war! Music excessively compressed and boosted tend to turn me away, lol.

Oh, J-Pop. So what is it that you did to this, exactly? (Sorry, I'm not familiar with the original.)

The instrumental track was entirely arranged by me. I extracted the vocals from the original and used it in my mix. You hear no background instruments from the original at all!

Right on. At first I wasn't impressed because it seems so seamless. I didn't think you'd done anything. But good job! Well done.
