I want to know what people want. When I should transcribe a piece there is sometimes a piano part and a voice part. I ussually make my sheets so that the voice and piano are seperate, so a person would have to sing the song in order to get the main melody. My question is would people rather have the main melody integrated into the piano playing or seperate?

Try asking Sperion (http://forums.ichigos.com/member.php?u=20944). He's very talented with these stuff :)

Well, it depends. Is your intent to have a vocalist and accompaniment? If so, then I would suggest submitting a score with the vocal part and piano accompaniment. If you just want it to be for piano and no vocals, then I would put the vocal melody in the piano right hand and then write an accompaniment for the left hand.

I get both kinds of requests. But I usually make piano+voice because there are not many transcribers doing that (constrasting a lot of piano solo arrangers), and secondly singing is also my interest. Anyway it is also not difficult for performers to compress the voice part into a piano solo if they really want that.
Overall I think the demand for piano solo is higher, but the supply is also higher. Anyway do what you like! ^_^ (and adjust according to requests/feedback.)

I second Sperion's answer^^ I love singing and of course, singing would always win over just a piano transcription^^ my dream is to have both though xD
