yeah, i think i'll give Chopin a shot and thanks for the suggestions, but i'm more interested in recent compositions which don't date back more than ten years.

Yeah, there don't seem to be many 'challenging', or at least well-known challenging pieces from the last ten years. What's wrong with Chopin? :P

Though if you want to, I guess... search up Scorpion Fire or Demon Fire, or lurk around some Stepmania communities. They generally arrange some fairly challenging pieces, if you're looking for those kind. :V

Look up György Ligeti.

Well-known challenging :P If I don't know the composer, then the general populace prolly doesn't either.

Well, the general populace does not know much about Chopin or Rachmaninoff. Anyway, not trying to sound sarcastic, but like anything, if you're interested, you gotta look for it.

The general populace does not even know who is John Williams. :P

Oh, you troll. ;)

But, really, try to just look for some contemporary composers. Ligeti is a great one, has an extremely modern sound...but his etudes are even just beyond my level. So, beware is what I tell ye.
