Hi i was wondering whether anyone had or could come up with the sheet music for the violin part of the song ''sorrowful stone'' from full metal alchemist brotherhood. I'm not yet good enough to come up with it on my own. Thanks.

it should be about the same as the ost 'philosopher's stone' just a little mixed up. i'lll listen to it now and tell you what i think...
yah they're the same. sheet music for lapis philosophorum is somwhere on every internet site... just change it around a bit and possibly play twice. there's a part in the middle where the violin, instead of going down to the note where it would go in teh lapis philosophorum, goes an octave higher on that note i think.....
so yah just listen and look at the sheet music and figure out which parts to play and which to repeat. you might have to tweak a bit but it's easier than writing your own part ^^
oh and i think it's played a string lower than the score taht's online. just to let you know. (i dunno i've only done violin for three months :heh: )

But I thought I have seen this request not too long ago... I do realise this thread came way before that, but the recent reply could have pointed it in a better direction. :P

Here is the thread: (although it was requesting for a cello version)

Anyway, reposting my response here for completeness:
