just picked up a complete transcription of one of Keith Jarett's concerts, and it is amazing! if you haven't heard of him then look him up on Youtube.
For those who have heard of him, what's your favourite piece of his?

Maybe we should either move this discussion to a general music discussion...or just a topic about Keith Jarrett.

Personally, I love the guy. I have every one of his albums (yes...all of them...that's a lot, trust me) and they're superb. One of my all-time favourite pianists, one of the BEST jazz artists and composers. I am surprised more people do not know of him...they really should.

completely aggree with you on that one. his Koln concert CD is just amazing everything is improvised and the first piece goes for 26 minutes! the fact that someone could actually do that without all that much infrastructure underneath the notes is incredible.
