It's not really an original composition, but it's a Christmas arrangement. With it, I'm pretty much just sort of putting different things together and seeing how it sounds...

Also, it's very unfinished, so it sort of loses instruments as it goes along.

It sounds a little discordant to be a Christmas song. I think a big problem with that might be the reverb. What program did you use? I like most of the arranging, but I wish the last bit were a bit more fleshed out. It's kind of an anti-climax.

Thanks for replying. I used MuseScore, and I did save it as both a midi file and a wav file (which was converted to mp3) and I myself didn't really like how Quicktime automatically puts reverb on to it, but I had decided against uploading the midi file since Windows Media Player plays the flute part as bells... I can upload the midi version if it helps with reverb.

And the last bit is basically just a lead in to Sleigh Ride, but all I had gotten done with it so far was a little bit of the Flute part. Here's the midi version.

the way this is arranged with the harmonies, it would make an excellent jazz piece (especially silent night)

just needs a decent drum beat

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind.

Here's something else I did (on Musescore) which is kind of a short spin on Sonoran Desert Holiday.
