It's too bad there isn't a way to integrate these two. You know, sort of have a way to insert the request posts into the repository.

It's just an idea... since I'm thinking it'd be easier to find the forum sheets if they were categorized like the submitted ones.

I think this is part of M's plan, that he may possibly implement one day....

I want to do things like that, such as:
extending the forum DB
create a request form
auto-trigger fulfilled requests in an index that could be searched easier than what the forum search provides

I also had a bunch of Ideas I wanted to trial here as well, such as:
ABC/Lilypond integration
MusicML integration
soundcloud integration
Sheet music license agreement service for uploaders and downloaders
User promotion/reputation system
Recent activity pane to show active thread discussions more rapidly

The problem is that the last time I touched the forum, everyone bit my head off (members and staff alike) for making the changes on the live site, and I don't have a viable sandbox to test things on. And, as much as I'd love to do things for the community here, I'm not willing to fork out the cost for a local vB license to develop these domain specific elements. So I'm at quite the standstill for changing things for the better right now :\

Well, the transcriber could always submit it to http://ichigos.com/submit ...

Yeah, but what I meant was, with so many who don't do that, it would be nice to have a way to organize them so that they can be found just by looking for the specific game or anime in which the tune plays, organized similarly to the actual repository. Anyway, it seems that this is already planned.
