No way is this suitable for our 13+ forum age rating. Also too many loud noisy japanese people and sheep screaming at you every five seconds is just going to be a headache.

Release date is February 17...but that's just for Japan. Localization to NA will take awhile (that is, if Atlus would even consider bringing this to the West; I hope they do though)

People from Japan bought the game and some complained that it was way too hard, especially on EASY level. I suppose ATLUS is now fixing that problem...

They bought a Shin Megami Tensei game, they know what they'll be in for. In buying an SMT game, they lost all right to complain about difficulties XD

I played the Demo of Catherine (japanese version) n easy mode and it was so hard that I want to buy the game.

Voice actor Troy Baker, who voices Snow (Final Fantasy XIII), Kanji Tatsumi (Persona 4), and Yuri (Tales of Vesperia), will be voicing Vincent.

All I have to say is please keep the Japanese voice track as an option in the localization. I don't think any form of prep would get these voice talents to even come close to how edgy the Japanese track sounds.

That really hasn't been Atlus' forte...I really hoped that they kept the original Japanese voices in the Persona games, but it never happened. The chances that they'll do it to this is pretty low.

Keeping the Japanese voice track is NIS America's selling point though

But if you include the Japanese voices with the English voices, doesn't that cost extra money to do that?

You'd be surprised. Michelle Ruff is apparently using a more normal/natural voicework in voicing Katherine. I have high hopes for this

Her roles are more of the peppy voiced characters (Rukia, Yoko, etc.) but she DID get cast for Yuki Nagato.

Anyhow, here are screenshots in this website that shows an alternative cover for Catherine. HOWEVER, PLEASE DO NOT GET IT WRONG AND SAY IT IS THE OFFICIAL REPLACEMENT. They said this is only showed in stores where they may have some "sensitive" people. Can't blame them for making some covers like this... Imagine a parent walking through the game area only to see a cover of Catherine, showing Vincent going down to Catherine's boobs and climbing on Katherine's back. :/ This is what ATLUS said:

Hmm, I'm toying with the idea of upgrading my pre-order to the Collector's Edition. A bunch of (possibly useless) stuff for $20 more. Should I take the plunge? XD
I mean, I said before that the only thing I could remotely want aside from the pillowcase, j/k 8D is the shirt but I usually buy the Collector's editions of most games I preorder (MW2 and its working night vision goggles, Black Ops with its working RC-XD explosive car, etc.)

Last time I let everybody die and blew off Katherine while I cheated with Catherine as hard as I could. This time will be the exact opposite.

Anyone know at which part in the game the cut-scenes actually change based on how you've been playing? I'm about 1/4 through my second run and I've just been skippin all the cut scenes, but I don't wanna skip anything different.

For me, I would only skip the puzzle stuff and watch the cutscenes...but that requires getting gold on every single stage (I've only gotten 1 or 2 golds so far =_= )
I'm not entirely sure which ones change though

I enjoy rewatching the cutscenes and going through the bar scene at a leisurely pace. The directing is top notch.
