What's your favourite anime series' soundtrack? I found Michiru Ooshima's soundtrack to Full Metal Alchemist Original and Senju Akira's OST to FMA - Brotherhood to be absolutely beautiful. I also like Clannad's OST 'cause it's cute, especially the Dango song ^_^ And now I'm in love with Pandora Hearts soundtrack. It's a symphonic pop-rock kinda thing, and it's really cool to do programming while listening to it :) Kajiura Yuki is awesome!

Haha, I second Yosuga no Sora's AOST. That was probably the best thing to come out of the series. Though I think they overused the main theme a little.

From last season, Samurai Girls and The World God Only Knows also had very good soundtracks, especially the latter I thought.

I thought The World Only God Knows had a pretty amazing soundtrack, personally. =D
The main "caught a ghost!" theme was so happy and great, and the rest of the songs were right up there with it.

The World Only God Knows? I haven't seen this anime, but the name sounds interesting...

In general, I really like the piano solo tracks many anime series have in the soundtrack. I know this is pretty vague, but, for example, Full Metal Alchemist or Aria, or Clannad (if I remember correctly). It's usually contemporary-style piano music which I really enjoy playing and listening to :)

Overall, I think Starry Sky also has pretty good music.

The Vanishment of Haruhi Suzumiya Movie soundtrack. It's perfection. Just try checking out the orchestral composition of Itsumo no Fuukei Kara Hajimaru Monogatari!

The World God Only Knows. It sounds very much like a video game OST which is fitting for it underlying theme.

The World God Only Knows OST rocks so hard.. I love Darker Than Black's and Death Note's too.

Ditto on the Haruhi soundtrack. The Clannad soundtrack just has an amazing effect on the show, so it'd have to be my top. Just an incredibly consistant and high-quality piece of work that fits everything perfectly, despite (or perhaps because of) the simplicity of the songs. My favorite composers: Maeda Jun Satoru Kousaki Yasunori Mitsuda Hashimoto Yukari (from what little I've heard of Toradora) Whoever did the Ano Hana OST

I also love TWGOK's soundtrack :D the openings have been alright, but the music they use during the actual anime is so pretty :D!
I really like the soundtrack to Elfen Lied as well :)

I don't listen to much OSTs for anime (surprise! I wonder why I do it for video games though), but I vote for Angel Beats! and Kara no Kyoukai.

I can't really say this is an anime at all (of course), but I really love Final Fantasy Type-0 OST. Everyone one of them is a must-listen to.
