Ah, to be an active transcriber working for free providing one of largest collection of vocaloid sheets, and in return having work deemed "lousy"... That really inspires transcribers!

... Most of the sheets on that site are meant for an electone. At the least, melodies are there so other instruments can use them without a hitch.

Also, this isn't an "official" version. It's an arrangement by koman. He has a number of great piano arrangements and produces some stuff of his own.

Hey, -Snomits-, cool off. maybe calling micandonburie lousy is a bit extreme, but janyhero is right about it. The transcriptions they provide, while useful, are wrong for two reasons.

1) Micandonburie's transcriptions tend to be written on 3 staffs, not the two for a good piano arrange.
2) They are of the original song, not the piano arrange.

Moreover, by "official," i believe he means the piano arrange that he gave. maybe its not the best choice of words, but that's no reason to flame.

Didn't mean that to be personal/sound heated. Sorry.

An electone (from my limited knowledge about it) uses 3 staves. So it's not "bad" but just unsuited for being used as a piano piece without some embellishment. Usually when I see a general Vocaloid sheet music thread, micandonburi's site is posted. And the requests still go on because no one wants to use them for the piano hahah. I agree it's suboptimal but it's not bad. I'm grateful that at least something is available for those songs.

Yeah, I do realize it was a request for that particular version. Really, I adore koman's arrangements and am rather surprised to see fewer (more like none that I could find, except for recently Mosaic Roll by Marioverehrer) transcriptions than, say, Marasy's (another popular arranger, who also has very good stuff). I also hope to see sheets for koman's version.

I have nothing against the intentions of the post, janyhero, Aurion. Full support. Just that I admittedly nitpicked wording... most transcriptions are done for free, not on commission, and IMHO critique is welcome but the wording (as I read it) really put down micandonburi's work. I see many requests all the time but very few transcribers. Muh it takes me hours of grinding the piss-poor ear, and I get nothing out of sharing. Anyway, I didn't mean to get serious about this - I don't particularly care that much - which is why I got sarcastic instead. Without inflection that came out poorly, sorry. I was originally going to be less curt and write more supporting the choice of song, but clearly I can get long-winded so I cut it all out. Did that all backfire.

Derailing from the request. But free bumps!
