Nope. CA is too far away. I hafta wait until next January for Ohayo-con in Columbus, OH... Or the one in Baltimore in which the name has escaped me. >.>

I am really sure I will be going. But I just need to bribe my friend to go...

but me and some friends might be driving down to Tampa, FL (600 miles away from where i live) and go to a con down there...hope we do :P

I am going to anime north in may (so excited, can't wait) I never been to an anime convention before, because there aren't to many in canada (or at least I don't know about any of them)

since some of us are likely to go to anime expo, we can meet or somethin.....nah.....too much of a hassle for me to look for someone i never even met....

That would be interesting though. lol

well as it gets closer we can work something out... work out a time to meet and exchange cell numbers or something... it would be cool to meet some of the people here in person ^_^

Where exactly to I go to find the location of the particular events on the site? It may be a stupid question, but I didn't exactly search through it much, for I need to go right now and I'm in a hurry...

the pricing is on the site... I think its &#036;20 per day, but there are discounts if you get more than one day... if you don&#39;t have a place to stay they also have discount prices on hotels nearby on the site.

I think I&#39;m going...my cousin and I, and her friend...if she&#39;d call me and give me a definite "yes" or "no" for Saturday...and I think I might cosplay...maybe Mitarashi Anko from Naruto...or I forgot my other ideas...-_-

My mom doesn&#39;t want me to go alone. So I might not get to go now. I&#39;m staying with my aunt in...uh....Long beach.....island...barge. Something like that. But she&#39;s not going to hang out with me there. So if I can&#39;t find someone to sort of..."chaperone" me and be my travel buddy while i&#39;m in cali, I dont get to go.....

AX2004 is in less than a week&#33;

I bought my ticket for Saturday, and I&#39;m going to the Yoko Ishida concert that day as well. Who else is going here? We should exchange cell numbers and meet up for lunch or something :D

I went today as Mitarashi Anko from Naruto (there were a lot of Naruto cosplayers...but none as Mitarashi Anko I was teh only one....feels good to be unique sometimes ^_^) and then tomorrow...I&#39;m supposed to pull of a female version of Seto Kaiba from "Yu-Gi-Oh"....Don&#39;t know how it&#39;s going to work out *sighs*...but today was major fun&#33;&#33;&#33; Although I did sleep in the car on the way back...if only I could go more days (after all I do have the full pass...so I don&#39;t see why not...oh well :heh:)

EDIT: I just was thinking....it&#39;s funny...you pass so many people...and you never know, it might be someone on a forum you post on....kind of interesting when you think about it.... :heh:

I&#39;ll look for you, and if you see me wave&#33; I&#39;ll be wearing a black noir shirt, jean shorts, have my camera and possibly my laptop bag. My pic is on the &#39;post your picture&#39; thread also ^^

Yeah I was with my cousin at that little giveaway thing (she was chanting..I was holding my bags and laughing at the horrible sound blasting through my eardrums). Of course, when the shirt finalyl came our way, she dove on the ground to pick it up...unfortunately the power of the guys around seemed to overpower her in that moment....that was very amusing...ahh second day of the expo has now begun...*leaves and should arrive there at noon* last day...for another year... :lol:

i was at the 2oclock one...near the front..but i turned around for some time lookin around....

i vaguely remember some people behind me tryin to grab it but it dropped. mostly guys....might&#39;ve been u&#33;

Oh man... It looked like fun. That person that was cosplaying Cammy looked almost real IMHO. I just might go to one of these anime convention things. From what AznJoe and Gand said, it must be a fun experience.

It is kind of wierd (and cool) that like you said, you might meet (or photograph) someone who happenes to be on the same forum as you and never realize it&#33;

No you didn&#39;t photograph me. ^_^ But I was near the front of that big Naruto cosplay circle taking pictures...I was behind one or two people. Not too far from your location....maybe about 90 degrees going counterclockwise if you think of it in a geometric kind of way. :heh: I might have gotten you in a photo...but maybe not, we&#39;ll see...*goes off to check her pictures* I should probably upload mine too...^_^
