What inspires you? Simple as that...

To be honest, I have yet to be inspired by anything. I find the piano beautiful and got tired of envying those who could play it. So I got myself a keyboard, some starter books, and lessons.

In terms of music, David Oistrakh for violin and Tommy Emmanuel for guitar.

In terms of ideas, emotions fuel a lot of ideas but along with loads of classical and japanese composers.
Right now, Bach is really inspiring me with his Chaconne, both in playing it and understanding it. The emotive depth, use of chord progressions and simplicity on the score is pretty inspiring for me =)

A lot of things.
If we're talking about music, i think Roberto Cacciapaglia, Ludovico Einaudi, Ray Sharp, Takanashi Yasuharu and Toshiro Masuda (two composer of naruto's OST), Yann Tiersen, Immediate Music ...
But sometimes, movies inspire me too : I am a Legend, Corpse Bride ...

To be honest, I dislike the term... Music should be started with a blank mind, then through ability, preference and academic techniques, it should be improved. Inspiration means a number of different things, though. I try to imitate others, sometimes, as an exercise, but not as a means to create a piece. I like to see music as seperate from the other arts, and reality, and infinitely more creative and beautiful... but I'm a weirdo :P
