I have a composition of a Marasy8 work, but since I didn't transcribe it, I can't upload it here. I want to know why we can't post other people's sheets on here? I'll definitely credit the transcriber and the original piece from which it was transcribed. I just want to share it to the world! I couldn't find this composition anywhere popular (Ichigo's and josh's), so I was wondering what it would take to post up this music on here. I am unable to contact the original transcriber, btw. Here's the transcriber name if anybody knows him/her, and either tell him/her to upload it here directly or at least give me permission to post up the work on here: myu314. Work: Shiawase Usagi. From: Touhou. Played Originally by: marasy8.

That is re-distribution without authorization. You can't re-distribute properties created by others without their authorization. You should give it a shot and try to contact myu314 from Mixi or twitter if you have not tried in these social networks yet. There is also a website which seem to not be updated but has an e-mail contact: http://myu314.org/ If you Google his name there are other possible sites to contact him. To keep trying to make contact with him is the only thing you can do.

To clarify the strong arm approach: Redistribution without authorization is against US copyright laws, and is not covered under Fair Use. Should a court supena be called, the user that performed this action would be responsible for the damages the redistributed content has caused. It's the same story as Bittorrent is to the music industry: if you weren't told you can redistributed it without permission, it's illegal and has a hefty fine should someone press charges.

Thus, to save our users from these problems, we simply don't allow it.
