I'd say its a pretty good anime overall. Cute art style. Though the mysteries seems to be too biased torwards the detectives/main characters.

I completely forgot to watch this anime again. :O I left off on episode 1 and left it there hanging... Other than that, I love it! Nice change of pace from the other anime I've been watching. ^^

I totally dig it :3 I was talking about my opinion of it in the Spring Anime thread (or the winter? I forget). I love it. It's not too overly-cheesy with the romantic parts, and not incredibly overdone with the dramatic sections... but I still hate when Victorique mentions her Wellspring of Wisdom; it's the only thing that actually annoys me.

And while this anime is okay, they left out way too much from the books. They jumped right into the grey wolfs, and the Magician's purpose is not fully explained. Maybe in season two (if there is a season two).

I haven't read the books, however, now that you mention it, the series itself seems a little rushed. That was probably the thing that was bothering me about it.
