From neurowear.net:
People think that our body has limitation,
however just imagine if we have organs that doesn’t exist,
moreover we can control that new body?

I look forward to the day in future Japan when wearing these will be normal, and they'll welcome travellers to their country as the Land of Animal Ears

Teachers will know if kids are dozing off, girlfriends will know when he's dozing off and checking out other catgirls

This is... no joke? I'd love to see something like this on musicians when they're practicing and/or performing.

That's brilliant. :D I was wondering if the 'mind control' stuff would ever catch on from just controlling software. It'd be interesting to see what else they can come up with.

If the technology is at this level now I can't wait to see it applied to people who have lost limbs. Now they could actually control them without slow mechanics and muscle movement.

AUTOMAIL, EVERYWHERE.

No, but seriously, stuff like this I could see being the early, early prototype to something like you've mentioned there.

There's one thing about these ears that came to mind last night that I wouldn't enjoy. Everyone knowing what I am "thinking." I could see these being more functional (to me, or people like me) if I could actually control the movement with my mind, instead of my "attention" doing it (does anyone see the difference?). Maybe I'm just a typical American, but I'd rather not have something as simple as my attention-span be on display xD

Isn't anything new. There was a starwars toy which did the same thing. Apparently you brain emits a certain wave when you are frustrated or concentration, which can be captured and given a magnitude.

What I'd be more interested in is translating the beta waves as actual emotions.

What's cool about this is it brings the subconscious, or your "attention," to the fore.

Normally people think that they can hide their subconscious inside, but in reality every thought and every feeling you have is radiating outward and affecting everyone. It's as if your every mental-emotional fluctuation is written in bright neon on your chest. So something like this might be useful to make people aware of how loud your subconscious nuances really are to everybody else.

But it might be cute to be able to just move your cat ears at will and entice your prey.

>:3

And don't worry. I read what you had written before... I honestly don't think people pay enough attention to other people's subconscious, and I see that prevalent with the amount of inconsiderate people that I personally know. Rahh. Then maybe I SHOULD enjoy these a little more, however, I would enjoy a tail as well.

So I'm not the only one thinking that then. :P

I hope I get to see this happen when I'm still alive. It's adorable! >.<

Though the thought of a tail, might be inconvenient?
