I was wondering if anyone could transcribe the song : Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? (OST) - Kumori Nochi Hare.

Not sure if i'm suppose to, but here's a youtube clip of it:

And I've got the .mp3 as well if you would like it.
I've actually attempted it myself but i'm still quite a beginner at piano. I tried Widi Pro and it went all over the place -.-. But i have figured out it's in the key of D Major i believe.

I'm actually in the process of transcribing this. JosuwaSays, do you think you can assist me with some of the notes? I've been writing it up in finale notepad. PM me for further details.

How are you getting on with your transcription?
You can compare it with mine at http://sperion.web.fc2.com/

Hey sperion, just noticed the post..

Well i haven't touched in a while. I was sorta stuck when the keys got a little complicated in the latter part of the song. I'm still a beginner at piano and it's the first time i've actually tried learning something by ear, let alone transcribe it. I was wondering if i could use some of your melody line to assist with my transcription. I can show you the midi of what i have now. It starts off similarly, but there are slight variations here and there. I'll attempt to finish it off soon once i'm in school holidays. Thanks!

By the way, what program are you using to write it up? I've been using finale notepad but i'm finding it fairly limiting. I've also got sibelius but it seems rather difficult so i have yet to try it out properly.

By all means use my transcription in completing your version. I often make changes some time later after completing a first attempt (which is often a quick run without carefully checking through), so there are possible areas for improvements.

I use Finale2005, which I have used since I first started making music scores. I have tried some versions of Finale Notepad for the last few years and I find them quite limiting indeed. I have not used sibelius before, but I know people who use it and find it ok. I will probably just stick to my old version of Finale since I am quite accustomed to the hotkeys and options. Full versions are definitely much better than trial/demo versions!
