This is the end result of hours of munching on Cheez-its, fiddling with Reason 5 (a new program to me), and plugging in notes, new instruments, and filters. Yay!
I'm planning on composing more this summer since I'll have more time. (One more day of school!)

I've tested the links and they work.
Hope you like it,
Enjoy

P.S. Tell me what you think.
The mediafire version is higher quality than the filesonic, and the soundclound is the highest quality.

What I think huh? I'll be blunt then: I think filesonic is terrible site for sharing files. XP

Please use tindeck (http://tindeck.com/), or soundcloud (http://soundcloud.com/), (or perhaps youtube (http://www.youtube.com/)), so people can stream the audio.

Or, if you insist on using a site where people have to download a file (instead of stream it through flash), then please at least use mediafire (http://www.mediafire.com/), or something similar to it, because it doesn't require a captcha and doesn't have a delay in downloading. I seriously can't read those captchas 80-90% of the time. Having to click refresh captcha 4 or 5 times to get a legible one (on top of having to wait half a minute), is not a very appealing prospect. =_=

As to the music itself (which I thankfully managed to download, heh), I like your use of panning for the main synthy part. I wish there was at least one (perhaps two) other notes of polyphony in the beginning background solo vocal-like held tone, which just seems to stick to roots as the synthy/guitarish thing in front moves around. It feels just a little sparse. Another thing to do might be double the synth part with another sample that has a larger frequency span, to help fill the sound scape, while making the second one quieter and lowering the volume of the first as well.

Another option would be to add some kind of high-pitched line, like a vibraphone or high synth, to complement the mid-range synth line.

The piano part had a nice arpeggiated thing going on.

Melody: Not that it bothers me, but there seems to be no distinct melody. It's just chordal or root parts following the progression. In my opinion, it's still listenable without a clear melody, but it might not hurt to try writing one in and see how it sounds. =)

Can't think of anything else to comment on. Anyway, it's a good start. Sound nice. Just needs an additional 2 or more layers, and mixing tweaking, in my personal opinion.

Thanks for the feedback. Making melodies is probably one of the most difficult things for me in composing. I come up with tons of melodies, but getting them to work with other instruments and melodies always gives me trouble. I don't know all that much musical technique at all. I've only been playing an instrument (piano) for 2 years. :/
P.S. OUT OF SCHOOL! WOOHOO!!!
