I for one am tired of Yahoo Answer's community. People are not following the community guidelines and Yahoo ain't enforcing it either.
Your not suppossed to post stupid answers, one of the guidelines state that a question must be answered in a legit way not posting things like "dunno" or "Who cares?" And everytime I post a question I get a very close minded answer and usually has a smart alec sound to it. Any thoughts?

Yeah!!! Like I'll be looking for an answer and get nonsense answers! It's really getting ridiculous.

This is so old... that it's hilarious again.

Anyway, there are much better resources than Yahoo! to get answers now these days. Sure it's useful, but if it's failed this many times so far... well, then stop posting on it. Yahoo! isn't the bread and butter of knowledge. ;)

^There should be more than one website that have specific topics that can be discussed, if I'm correct. You can try to look it up on Google and of course, you can't always trust the answers you get on the internet. :ninja:

I think everybody knows how dumb Yahoo Answers can be. :P Cracked has a great parody (http://www.cracked.com/funny-2663-yahoo21-answers/) on this.

I for one am tired of Yahoo Answer's community.
What does this have to do with Ichigo's?

I'd recommend you stay away from yahoo answers, since you claim to be tired of it. Most people on there just look up their answers on google or wikipedia anyway, so you could just do the same, ya know?

Solaphar, you troll on this forum more than anyone else I've ever come across, including me. It's obvious you don't like any of the threads in general discussion because in most of them you have to make some smart-ass comment about how it's not related to anime or music. Well no shit, that's why it's in the general discussion section of the forum. You're not a mod, and I'd be surprised if anyone ever responds in a positive fashion to your wanna-be-mod-troll-posts.

Happy trolling buddy.

*yawn* Heard it all before.

But sure, feel free to repeat it as many times as you think necessary until you think it's true.

My aim is not to troll, even if you choose to interpret it that way.

You're mistaken. I realize that your aim isn't to troll. I'm sure that in some back-asswards way you actually think your trolling posts are contributing to the health of ichigos by-way of discouraging off-topic discussions. I'm just trying to help you understand that you are trolling because what you're doing isn't helping. What you're actually doing is discouraging the growth of community relationships. If the mods wanted to completely be-rid of threads like these there wouldn't be a general discussion.

I thought it over, I guess you're right. Maybe I am being too ardent in trying to discourage non-Ichigo's related threads.

It's just that, in the past, those are what I saw as the biggest source of arguments. This is one of the reasons behind my motivation for posting like this. But, as you've pointed out, maybe I'm going overboard in trying to prevent problems and potentially making some myself. I guess I'll stay away from the 'general discussion' section for awhile. I'll post when people address their posts towards me, but I'll try not to post otherwise.

Relax everybody. No need to argue over something worthless like this. :\ Both of you have reasonable points.

1. Solaphar is only slightly puzzled as to why kentaku-sama would create a thread just to bitch about his experience on Yahoo Answers, when kentaku-sama can just use alternatives such as Google.

2. Whiplash believes that Solaphar is being too restrictive with the type of threads that one can open in the General Section, therefore the "trolling".

3. Solaphar states that he is not "trolling" and that Whiplash interpreted his comment wrongly.

4. Whiplash is unhappy because he believes that Solaphar isn't contributing anything useful to the forum by making posts like this in the general section, which in his opinion distorts the growth of community relationship.

5. Solaphar realizes that these types of arguments are exactly what the forum used to be based on back then. Solaphar explains that he had actually posted in this thread with the intention of diverting any source of potential conflict in the thread. Solaphar did not realize that it would backfire.

See how pointless this whole thing was? My point is that there is no need to fuss over something that goes round and round like this. It's a waste of time. :( Hope this wraps things up.
