Hi all :D

I've been playing piano for almost a year now, mainly I play Final Fantasy, which is great, but i'd really like to diversify what I play, preferably some classical

Any suggestions of some beautiful songs, that an intermediate would be able to play?

Well, you can play other video game music pieces. Video game music covers (nearly) all style of music, so you can search for the style you want to play.

It's difficult to say without knowledge of your ability. There must be thousands of books showing pieces that gradually get more difficult, and a teacher would likely give you pieces at a little above your level to improve.I loved doing the ABRSM grades. They give you pieces of varying style at 8 different levels (then there are lists for the diploma, licenciate and fellowship, but that's for when you're REEEEEAALY good).
Try to get some Faure. He's my favourite composer. There's a lot of beautiful stuff for you to play by him. As I say, try to get a book suited to level. 'A book for intermediate standard pianists', or something like that (it probably doesn't exist. It migt though... who knows...). It's sad that beginner stuff is never beautiful, and much of the beautiful stuff is for only the most accomplished.
Hope this was helpful... looking back on it, it wasn't really...
