So while in the shower this morning, I began to wonder. In an all out war between worlds, who would win? Muggles? Or Magic Folk?

I think that if muggles attacked first by suprise, they may have a chance to defeat the magic folk.

What do you think?

This is what sparked the thought:

Oh dear...

I'd have to go with the people with teleportation, invisibility, zombies, and total mind control. Oh, and dragons. Don't forget the dragons. But you never know.

I'd go with the people with stealth bombers and ICBMs.

Yeah, normal people would definitely win. There are a lot more of them, and machine guns and rocket launchers own those stupid wands...
The magic folk would be all "WINGUARDIUM LEVIO-BLEARAARARAGGGGHHHH" as they're ripped apart by minigun fire. ~___~
Next question!

Yeah, the problem for the muggles is that they don't actually know where to find the magic people and the magic people can very easily infiltrate in the muggle world so the muggles are kind of screwed.

I'd go with the people with stealth bombers and ICBMs.There's the whole TOTAL MIND CONTROL thing. If the guy flying the stealth bomber suddenly turns around and attacks his team, that's BAD. Also, Muggle-borns know enough about the Muggle world to cause some major problems.

Ah, but you assumed that all muggle born magic folk would take the side of the magic folk. They could be the wild card that descides the two side's fates!

Yeah, this is like asking who would win in a fight between Freeza and the farmer guy that was almost killed by Radiz from episode 2 of DBZ.

All the humans would have to do is capture/torture a few magic users. Bitches like Potter and Weasley wouldn't last through five minutes of water boarding, lawl.

The combined armies of the world =/= some random farmer. And the DBZ cast would kick the crap out of the harry potter cast, anyway...

While those wizard kids are waving their wands and doing magic, the cast of DBZ will be charging up for at least a couple movies and talking about their power levels before they'll throw a single kame hame ha.

He isn't almost killed, he's just killed. Only in the American version they dubbed a line "that smarts" after he got hit to make it more kid friendly (similar to how after Nappa blows up the city after he and Vegeta arrive they made the news reporter read that luckily everybody in the city could be evacuated in time so no one got hurt; even though we could clearly see people standing around the saiyan pods when Nappa blows up the city - not to mention it's impossible to evacuate a complete city within just minutes time).

Hahah, true enough. XD
One punch from the DBZ cast would insta-gib any human, though. Muggle or otherwise...

But what if the wizard people were to use mind control on Vegeta? And don't they have those instant-kill spells?

And what if while the wizard people were trying to use mind control on Vegeta, a muggle snuck up behind the wizard with a knife? These are legit questions people!

Zero no Tsukaima? According to that anime (which is obviously inspired from HP), WWII weapons pwns. I wonder if mages can survive long range attacks such as snipers, artillery fire, aircraft bombardments, etc. If mages wanted to be on their guard all the time I guess mages could form a magic shield around them, however that sucks up energy, and I don't think they can hold out too long. The element of surprise is important. Also in the military, they have something like a shock and awe tactics. When you bombard the enemy from a long range distance or through stealth, and the enemy doesn't know where it's coming from, confusion and fear results and morale drops. Mages are no exception to that tactic.
