TRANSCRIPTIONS BY DUNNOTCOME

Hi,

I specialize in transcribing of anything (except jazz and atonal pieces) into Piano Solo. I can also transcribe band/orchestral pieces, or auxillary/soloist instruments (Flute + Piano, String Quartet, etc).
Do drop your request on my post its welcomed.


A few things though. I believe some are in the rules but i think its best i put them up here as well:

1. Look up the sheet music first. Unless you feel you want a better version of the song/piece you are looking for, otherwise you should use the existing sheet musics.

2. Do provide a link/MP3 or any form of media for me to listen to. I can't be transcribing a piece without the music...

3. Provide your requested instrumentation (e.g. I want it for piano solo/piano and flute/wind band/orchestra/etc)

4. Do understand that if the piece is atonal/jazz I will consider transcribing them based on their difficulty (I'm not trained in pop/jazz music, and they do not have a definite structure for me to listen onto).

5. Upon completion I will post up the sheet music here. Selected ones will be uploaded by me onto youtube for viewing.

6. Recording your playing of the transcription is surely welcomed, but do link to my blog at http://novelfantasia.blogspot.com/

7. Please avoid requesting other people's arrangements, especially if they are copyrighted (As in the person has the sheet music monetised) or just plain simple (One note right and left hands......it gets quite boring when the arrangement uses too many simple devices)

8. Do understand that the difficulty of the pieces I transcribed tend to be harder to learn. If you want a simple or "not so tough" piece do tell me (I like playing crazy pieces, if anyone have any suggestions for crazy pieces feel free to post it here but I won't record it though, my house is too noisy for recording)

9. Please seek appropriate copyrights if necessary (I don't want my transcriptions to be taken down for copyright, sometimes they are not even transcriptions but arrangements and its taken down)

@shinjitsu14 I can transcribe it but I would want to listen to the original first before deciding on the rendition you posted to me (The tune sounds very familiar somehow...). But I will take longer than usual (Due to schooling exams you know the stuffs, this year is critical for me...) so do understand if I were to put the transcription on hold at some point of time as I already have 3 (Including the one on top, excluding yours) request to do in my free time which have to be completed in sequence (sad, i know T_T)

@LuxordThePianoPlayer The sheet music is already up on his page (Its in his description). Unless you want me to do a better version (Which is not possible for this case as its his improvisation), I think it should be worth your time to learn from the sheet music provided. :-)

@Epilson I think I know why nobody wants to put up a sheet music of the piece you requested - its very messy even though it sounds very simple. A lot of syncopated rhythms which are actually very common in pop music which can result in very messy scores. Also, its not as easy to transcribe as it seem because of this rhythms. I've started on your request and this is what i notice :-)
@shinjitsu14 The time required would have to depend on how fast I finish Epilson's request and the difficulty of the piece in being transcribed. Do post up a link to the original :-)
@ricebunny I know it is hard to find piano transcriptions on Miku's music (I got one request before, check out Neverland(Hatsune Miku) in my youtube channel!). Yours is 3rd in line so yeah.

@hinamuffin You can do away with the contrabass parts actually, I added it in because I liked the low sounds of it to be inside but the piano parts should compensate for that (There is one section where the cello's solo requires a contrabass, might want to put it into the piano part it should work out quite nicely [just tested it]) The files should be attached on this thread)

Wow starting to get embedded in requests lols I will try my best to finish all by June (No guarantee as I have a major exam this year that I have to spend time for). I will go by the order of request post though nice pieces may go up the queue (I presume you know why, an example would be Krone - Guilty Crown). So for those who requested Im guessing I will probably finish it LATEST by June (I transcribe one piece at a time, not like others who transcribe 10 pieces at one go without dynamic marks or expression). For those in the front queue I will probably finish either this week or next week during my weekend break.

Personally I didn'r really like the person's arrangement because its too simplistic to me but thats just my personal preference because I prefer challenging pieces rather than easy pieces which uses simple devices and accompaniments.

@stempanerd I actually have my own version for this uploaded way before but Sony is being an idiot by removing all of my videos on this OST for no reason.. Anyway, it will be likely that I use my current version. I will update the old version (Shouldn't take long, maybe 30 minutes or so) and post it here. Most likely, it will be an original transcription by me as it was modified from the older rendition of my transcription. Will also update my mirrors on the updated version.

Not the one in my homepage, its a modified version after I've uploaded that version (Since I modify my transcriptions to suit my taste as well). Unfortunately, till the air clears with Sony Music Entertainments (Which I would like to punch in the face, this is a "fan-work not "their work"), I'm not gonna upload this version on youtube. I will update my mirrors on the new version. The MUS File is on this post you will need Finale Reader 012 to open it.

It seems that more response on this thread is preventing me from starting my new thread at the end of this year. Just to reaffirm, I will not be accepting anymore request till end of this year (December onwards) due to my studies (GCE ' A' levels T_T). Therefore, I just want to affirm that this thread will be closed and when I start a new thread, any request posted here before my last post on the same subject will not be accepted (Those which I have accepted before I close this thread will still be transcribed, no worries for those who requested and I've given my reply on this - and please do not revive this thread because by the time I begin accepting requests again, I would have started a new thread).
