Composer Wins by Landslide!

The winner of the Ichigo's Summer 2011 composition contest entitled "Mission: Composition" has come to an exciting conclusion yesterday with senior composer KaitouKudou winning by a landslide.

Ichigo's Sheet music holds many composition contests throughout the year. This summer, the contest had a record breaking eleven entries meaning the competition was predicted to be tight.

The theme to this contest was a short entry of only thirty two measures at a moderate tempo. Composers were free to create within these means.

KaitouKudou, however, showed his years of competition experience and pulled through as the winner with six votes; three more votes than the second place finisher Von Hohenheim. There was a tie for runner up between alpiso and PorscheGTIII with two votes each.

As this short contests concludes, contestants prepare to hone their skills as talks for the next grand contest begin. We can only wait with the admiration of a young child on Christmas eve for the spectacular work Ichigo's composers come out with next!

Congratulations to everyone who participated!Talks will begin soon for our next big contest, and I hope to see everyone enter future contests as well. To all who voted, the feedback was great! That's just the kind of interaction we need on the forums.

I agree. I think this was really helpful for everyone who submitted. I saw a lot of improvement in people's pieces after they were submitted and evaluated.

Congratulations KK!

PorscheGTIII, that is the most epic announcement for a contest winner I've seen. You rock.

Congratulations KKK! I was not able to submit my vote because I did not have a medium to connect to the internet! Gah! Though, I did enjoy listening to all entries and what I most liked was the diversity from one to the other! :D

I vote for Von Hohenheim because of one simple reason. It was the most catchy one of them all. I usually banter on about how a song should be very catchy. It wasn't the greatest melody but it was a memorable one. So my vote goes to you. AND THOU SHALT NOT STOP DANCING UNTIL THE SONG IS OVER! IN THE NAME OF HOHENHEIM!!!!!!

As much as I appreciate it, this seems to be copied from Ander on the correct thread...
