I'm currently taking Woodwind requests. Hit me up if you're interested. I only do songs I like, so try to request in my interests (Hint: I like Nintendo games, and anime from Key)
-Currently working on-
*Little things here and there. I'm not doing any big projects right now, just songs I like.
-Next project-
*Nothing yet, I'm free
-Possible future projects-
*Nothing yet...
Requests List
*So far, none that I'm interested in...
SORRY GUYS, BUT I WON'T BE TAKING ANY PIANO REQUESTS. IF YOU DIDN'T NOTICE BEFORE, i WAS TURNING THEM DOWN, BUT YOU GUYS WOULDN'T STOP. I SPECIALIZE IN WOODWINDS, SO I WILL BE TAKING WOODWIND REQUESTS ONLY. IF I DO ANY PIANO ARRANGEMENTS, IT'S BECAUSE I CHOOSE TO DO SO.

Alright, guys. I did a few updates on the list, so I thought I would let you guys know. I'm currently working on the Fountain Of Dreams theme from Kirby Nightmare In Dreamland. (It's in multiple Kirby games, this was just the first to come to mind)
I know we already have a Piano version of it on this site, so I'm doing it for Alto Sax. Although if you guys want, I'm willing to do it for an Alto Sax Quartet, that would be pretty cool, too.
Or I could also just do Fountain Of Dreams as a Concert Band piece, it's all up to you seeing as I can't decide. But until some of you guys pick, it will remain for Alto Sax.
I started figuring out the notes today, so I'll probably finish it either this week or next. But until then, does anybody know of any free programs I could use to create, save, and upload Midi files? O.O

There are plenty of free notation programs out there. I used nwc for years to write music. Also, since you're basically just transcribing and looking for suggestions on what to transcribe you should restart this thread on sheet music request.

Alrighty. What's NWC? Could you give me a link?
What are some good, easy to use, free music composition programs? Could anybody give me some links?

Small update. I recently did an arrangement of Viva La Vida, by Cold Play, for a Sax trio. (Two Alto's and a Tenor) That obviously won't be uploaded onto Ichigos, but I will put it on my blog, Sound Life. Check the link in my signature
I also did the Mortal Kombat theme for a small band. I'll upload that onto here, and onto Sound Life.
Also, could I get this moved to the correct section?

Greetings, glad to see more transcribers on this site! :)
Just a note on your solo sheets (the two sax ones uploaded onto the main site so far). I get the feeling that you included the tiny rests at the end of the phrases for the midi to sound better, but I think it would be less confusing for musicians to see full value notes. Otherwise someone out there will inevitably want to actually count those note values. A compromise to this would be to produce a duplicate score, where the original would remain true to the sound and only used to generate the midi, while the second score is edited and then published for reading purposes.
Good luck with your future works.

November 21st, 2011, 09:49 pm
That's a pretty smart idea. I tried playing the pieces with one of my friends and he couldn't count those notes! XD I guess I better get working on them and reupload them.
But for Viva La Vida, don't worry, it doesn't have notes that sort. XD

I did an arrangement of Super Driver, from The Melancholy Of Haruhi Suzumiya for Alto Sax. I'm gonna upload it in a few minutes or so.

I just finished an arrangement of My Soul, Your Beats from Angel Beats!. And this one doesn't have a million ties!!
Also, I'm gonna go back to some of my other sheets and get rid of all the ties. I need to stop being lazy about that...

We all see that you've made a new signature. But guess what? Nobody cares. If you want people to know you made a new one, make a graphics thread and post your new signature in there. Don't SPAM the thread I use to show off my art and talent....

Hello !
That's good to see a new transcriber on this amazing forum :P
So, if it's possible I would like you to do a piano sheet music of (if you have the time and if you want of course:D) :
Akatsuki theme (Naruto Shippuden) : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ux0Qnn2XEgM
I went to your website but I can't find any sheets (I'm currently interested by your Angel beats' sheet), can you help me ?
Bey-Heart
December 4th, 2011, 07:32 pm
Sure thing, I'll get started on the arrangement tomorrow.
Also, I haven't gotten around to uploading my sheets yet onto my site yet... XD I'm gonna put them on there any day now.

Liquid Angel, I almost started working on your request, but I couldn't find an Midi file. So for now, I will not complete request. But if you can find me an Midi file to use, I'll happily complete your request. My apologies

December 6th, 2011, 11:57 am
Oh :\
I couldn't find this too ... Do you have to possess this kind of file absolutely ?
Otherwise I have the mp3 original music but i know that i can't convert it to MIDI, if it help you to have the mp3, tell me.
Bey-Heart
December 6th, 2011, 09:56 pm
No, I do not. I could sit down in front of my Keyboard, listen to the MP3, and do it by ear. Then, type it up a single note at a time. But that process is so tedious to go through. So I'm afraid I won't being doing this request. I'm sorry.
I'm currently doing a request for howelllawson. It's Carol Of The Bells, for Piano. After this is completed, I will do more requests. It should be completed soon since I started working on Carol Of The Bells before he even requested it! XD
Also, I just did an arrangement of Don't Say Lazy, from K-ON!! for Alto Sax
Bey-Heart
December 6th, 2011, 10:29 pm

Also, I'm currently working on an arrangement of Here Comes The Sun (The Beatles) for a Sax Quartet. It uses two Alto's, a Tenor, and a Bari. It's finished for the most part, but there's still some things I wanna do to it in the next few days.

I think I might go and make arrangements of the themes for all of the Mavericks.
Anyways, I uploaded the sheet and the MIDI. They just gotta be approved first.

January 7th, 2012, 01:37 am
Hiya, if you're having trouble uploading due to large PDF file sizes, I recommend checking out PDFCreator (http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator/). It's a free and clean program that generates surprisingly efficient PDFs while remaining perfectly legible. It averages out to something like 10-15kb per page.
Good luck with your arrangements. :)
Bey-Heart
January 7th, 2012, 01:39 am
I could give it a try. Would that be better than using CutePDF?
Gotank
January 7th, 2012, 01:44 am
I haven't tried CutePDF, but from what I've seen with others who export with it, the files are unnecessarily large. I'm not familiar with what sort of data PDFs carry aside from their visible content, but I honestly have no idea why PDFCreator generated files are so much smaller, as there doesn't seem to be any noticeable drop in print quality.

But remember I don't know the full song. Only the melody and a little (very little) part of the bass. I also have a little idea of the chords, but I'm not sure. However, I hope the melody will be useful for you.
I can't do it before this Wednesday, so expect it by the end of the week.

Thanks. I guess I'll have to do the rest by ear. (Or as I like to say: I'm gonna have to spend a very long time trying to figure the rest out by ear..... (Actually, I don't like to say that)) >.<
Oh well, hard work will just make it better! :D

Hey, I did the Planet Wisp MIDI. The guitar solo is not incluided and if I were you I would revise the last arpeggio. The beginning of the bass is good, I think, the same with the melody. It's not too much, but maybe you find it useful:

The melody repeats again and again. However, if it's not complete, say it ^^
Send me a pm if you need help.

Sorry guys, but I'm not too good with Piano, I only use it if I need to. Woodwinds are my specialty. Sorry. :/
Good news everybody. My band teacher is giving me the chance to arrange a concert band medley. I just started spring break today, and I'm going to arrange the piece over the break. When I get back, I'll give him the arrangements, and he's going to look at it. If it's good enough, the class will sight read it. ^^ Right now, I'm thinking that I'll most likely be arranging Ballad Of The Goddess from Legend Of Zelda: Skyward Sword. Wish my luck!! :)

Hello, I don't know if you are still interested in this, but if you could still transcribe this song, I'm still looking for someone to do so..
I've asked about five people and all of them have bailed on me.
It seems that you are more reluctant to transcribe songs that you don't like, which is reasonable.
Perhaps that is the reason why no one is transcribing this song for me.
If you are still willing to, please give it a try. I have been urgently looking for this for about half a year now with no luck.

Could you transcribe this piece for Flute? Ideally, I'd prefer it if you did it as a duet. But if that's inconvenient or too difficult, it's fine if you don't.
It's Cherry Blossom Storm from Okami.
