Hello everyone! Haven't been in here much...

Anyway, kariekh wanted (http://forums.ichigos.com/index.php?showtopic=2125) to learn how to play the piece that's in my sig, so here's the sheet music (attached). Do what you want with it, all I ask is that you remember the person in whose memory it is dedicated

omg . . all that transcribing you've done is great practice, eh? Didn't know you composed too! I actually thought the song in your link was from an anime . . but yeah, it's really nice . . too bad it was so short. Can you add more?

It's a good song, if a little short.

Hi, hi! Thanks for the welcome :D

Guess I'm not quite cut out to be a composer though-- I lack both the attention span and the skill to actually develop a composition, after the first burst of inspiration

Anyway, here's two more I made. Give them a listen if you want to, they won't take more than a minute of your time (literally :D) I've never shown these to anyone before, so... yeah. *Gets shy*

Good god man!! You're incredible!! *stares in disbelief* You already have the innate skill, now you just have to develop your attention span, and you will do wonders =P

Cockroaches was amazing . . I think the short length is perfect for the idea, because in real life, I wouldn't be able to stand seeing those bugs for that long.

Somber is just pretty . . not much else I can say, because in these types of songs, you will need to have it longer before you start making considerations about the structure.

Love the "Cockroaches", dude! A moto perpetuo for piano.

"Somber" sure lives up to it's name...

Don't know about the somber one, but I do like the Cockroach song. It's spirited, and well thought out. I don't think you should continue on either of them, but rather compose new songs that use the same principe, but only make them better. =]
