so lets discuss:

who's your fave character, level, whatever

MARTH: I know people go Roy is much better but Marth is da coolest. For one thing he has 2 sword slashes, his attacks are faster and require less time to charge up. Plus when he's in his black costume he looks AWESOME!

one night...me and some friends played a 99 stock match B) it was long...but fun :D

You know what you should do? Play SSB with 4 people, 99 stock, and 200% damage ratio. It's utter madness! XD

Oh man, gotta love that game. I'd have to say my best characters are kirby and young link/link.

My favourite character is probably Falco, he's really quick and I think his moves are great. My favourite level is probably Final Destination, I like the simplicity of it :).

I am not to good at super smash brothers, but my favourite characters are
Kirby - because on super smash brothers for N64 he was the only person I used
Zelda - because she is cool and she can turn into sheik who is really fast
ice climbers - because they are so cute, they can jump really high, their are two of them and because they were the first characters I used on super smash brothers melee (game cube)

to add some variety to the game, I never choose anything. The stock/time is up to who I'm against, I always choose a random character, and when it's my turn to pick the level: random.

I have lots of fun with Ice Climbers, Mewtwo and Ness, but I win with Fox or Marth.

I hate Hammers; I think they are cheap. My ultimate weapon is the Star Rod, and pokéballs are overrated.

I love playing Gargantuans; I play it all the time; my record is 18 seconds (I won and the little Mario was still alive)

I like cruel melee cuz it's so friggen hard. I think my highest score there was somewhere between 7 and 10

cheap way to beat it is use dk and just smash the ground the whole time.

He He, I must be getting old, because when I looked at the topic, I thought it was for the old school game for the N64. But it turns out to be on Melee. I will state my favorate charator: it is Ness, because he has powers not of this world. You can jump far, stun people, have a SSA similar to the baseball bat item and is just plaining cool!

I prefer Final Destination, Hyrule Temple, Great Bay, and the old school levels to fight in. I was so used to the old stages that tend to pick those to fight on.

I like to play on hyrule temple and i use fox. marth. yoshi. and mario


what if we " all" got to gether and had a tournement. or would that be to hard lol

Ok, I have so many characters that I use, I can't list them all (especially since I don't play it anymore. Gamecube broke :cry: ), so I'm going to list the ones I suk at.

Ice Climbers, Yoshi, Bowser, Donkey Kong, Zelda, Captain Falcon, Gannondorf (spelling?), and that's about it.

For favorite stage, I'll have to pick the ones with the Great Fox (you know, the giant chip that FoX uses all the time?). I think the melee one is called Cornelia (again, spelling) of something. I love it and hate it because I love and hate the Arvings that try to shoot you all the time. And then there are the cannons in front XD .

Item, Home run. I fun making that "ting!" sound and watching a character fly off the screen. You should see me scramble for that thing whenever that appears. And once I have it (or someone else), watch out!

Tiny melee with poison mushrooms is the bomb! It's funny seeing characters that small jumping so high or using giant weapons (tiny guy with hammer, fox with his pistol)

I wish I could play that game right now, because I never got to unlock Mewtwo or Mr. Game and Watch :cry: ...

Mr Game & Watch was kool and funny to play as.

My Fav characters to play as were Mario, Luigi, and Dr. Mario...i just loved how they run and attack :D

My fav. chars to play as are probably Mario (yellow and purple!) and Jigglypuff. Most people shun Jigglypuff and deem her weak, but when I can get near you and get off a rest (down+B), you're gone! :P

Yeah, they do have the same moves. But Ganendorf's moves are stronger and Captain Falcon is faster.

I don't like using the Ice Climbers because if one of them dies, your Up B move is useless, so you're pretty much screwed if one dies.

Oh, how I want to play as Giga Bowser. But I can't, so I'll stick with Link, Zelda/Sheik, Roy, Marth, and Ganondorf. As for items, give me a Bob-Omb and you're screwed. I like Final Destination, Hyrule Temple, Kanto Stadium, and Rainbow Ride. Opponents? My cousins and Level 9 CPUs.

whenever Iuse Zelda and Sheik I use Zelda when I have low damage, and Sheik when my damage is high.

As for the Ice Climbers, I love using them because they are hilarious. If one of them dies, then you gotta use B+Forward to get back instead of B+Up

I like to use Marth. I prefer Marth over Roy because he's way faster. His attack isn't bad either.

dodge=less damage
less damage=win

Roy, much powerfull then Marth so youre ass gets kicked when it comes to smashing........ no matter how fast Marth is, hes goes down by lack of power....

I'd still go with Marth. He may not be as strong as Roy, but he's still plenty strong and he gets his attacks off much quicker.

Marth is pompous, so I like using Roy (attitude plays a big factor for me)

I like zelda, Ice climbers and kirby
I'm not good at attacking so I have to run away alot so
I like zelda cuz she can turn into shiek who can run fast
I like ice climbers cuz they can jump high and they are cute
and I like kirby because I always used to be kirby in the old smash brothers and cuz he can fly

What's up with SSBM2? I heard a rumor about it...

I think they might put in some Sega Characters I dunno though I just heard that from my friends.

Mario has his cape. I love pulling that out when Samus fires her charge shot. :D

I love just using the cape to confuse my friends. :P They run at me with a headbutt and I "cape" them and they end up running the wrong way. :P So funny! Also, I love using the cape on pokeballs.

I don't like mario too slow. Anyone try Bombomb potato?

You throw a bombomb back and forth and each person tries to pluck it outta mid air.

I try to catch bombs, but I'm not to successful

and I prefer Luigi, mostly because he's hilarious, but he also has cooler costumes.

I like pissing off the other players by picking Green Greens. They keep falling off because of the tree and the kirby blocks.

I pick stages for their music, so I usually pick the retro kirby level ^_^

I don't think they can have Sega characters. It's like how Mallow and Geno can't be in SSB games. They are copyrighted Square characters, so I don't think they can be in a Nintendo exclusive game

but hey, I don't know... they're digging pretty deep if they pulled out Mr. Game and Watch

But square still has them copyrighted, and SEGA is sold out to software...

They did try to create a handheld with sonic charaters similar to SSB1... Needless-to-say, it sucked. So maybe it is possible.

The PS2 itself sucks in comparison to the other systems, spec-wise, but the software and drivers used on games is top notch and owns all others (exception to the fact that everything is bump-maped and not animated.)

Actually, Nintendo did have Geno make an appearance in Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga. Square gave them permission to do it. I still don't think Nintendo is likely to put any character outside a Nintendo game in SSB; the whole concept of Smash is Nintendo characters battling it out.

If they do have other characters it won't be until they run out of their own and that isn't going to happen any time soon. There's a nearly inexhaustible supply. They could still add Ridley, Pit, Fusion Samus, Birdo, Cpt. Olimar, random animal crossing characters (I can see it now, smash forward is hitting with them shovel, the grab uses the insect net and your power up "B" move is casting your fishing line). If they were to take characters from any other company it would probably be Namco or Capcom as they're on very good terms with both of them. (Link in SC2, two exclusive RPG's and developing Starfox for Namco, Resident Evil series and Flagship Zelda titles for Capcom)

That's a good point but 300 means they would have have an excessive amount of clone characters. Besides, the general populace of Gamecube fans wouldn't know most of the pokemon I think.

I wonder, does anyone have any suggestions for new stages? Personally, I'd like to see a Fire Emblem vased stage, at least one more Zelda stage (along with the return of Hyrule Castle from the N64 version) and maybe another Metroid stage.

PS2 owns nothing except the mass market. They have little to recommend the Playstation except extensive third-party support and with the Xbox' rise in popularity, who knows how long that'll last.

Unless you&#39;re playing against someone good, then they can usually get around Samus&#39; charge shot or if you&#39;re Samus and you&#39;re playing against fox or Falco, then ou&#39;re in a world of pain. Luckily Samus is an all-around good character. Besides, Mewtwo&#39;s charge is more dangerous than Samus&#39;.

i had considered putting mewtwo in my fav playables...but really, all he has is that charged shot. and another ability where he does something w/ his mind...i dunno

Yea, Samus takes the cake for best punches, but I think that a sword does more damage when you&#39;re just using the &#39;a&#39; button.

I&#39;ve always liked the laser sword the most (usually with Mewtwo). When using Samus I find she&#39;s an excellent juggling character. Especially with that smash down "A" move. She&#39;s also a great combo breaker with the down "B" move. Really, she&#39;s just a well rounded great character. As for just basic "A" attacks I&#39;d say Marth wins that. Even his normal "A" attack has good reach and good power.

I don&#39;t like items; I never play with them in vs mode. I think there really cheap and they should be left out in the next SSB. If I had to choose though. I&#39;d have to say the star rod

oh i just Remembered: Roy is pretty good for distance attacks. i usually hide somewhere and attack with long-range psychic attacks

I find Marth has a much bigger reach then Roy. Roy&#39;s advantage usually lies in his power. It&#39;s almost a shame neither of them have any long range attacks, then they&#39;d be perfect.

His PK flash is awsome if you can land it but I usually just have fun using his lightning move constantly.

yeah hes awesome.the one character i never managed to play was Mr. Game & Watch... his attacks are strong but i just have a lousy sence of timing when it comes to using his frying pan

I have a lousy sense of everything when it comes to Game and Watch. I&#39;m working at becoming really good with Marth right now though.

i tried to but his lack of horizontal-movement-attacks (hes more specialised on vertical attacks) made me forget him... also the companion of Fox was pretty good cause he had the same moves but his blaster stopped enemies and had multiple shots

I awalys found Marth had mostly horizontal moves. His forward "B" combo is horizontal, his charge "B" is horizontal and vertical, his normal "A" attack is horizontal, 3 of his smash attacks are horizontal or a mix. If anything I find he has too many horizontal attacks.

oh yeah the conbos:theyre cool but i have hard time managing to perform the whole 4hit attack... in my best days i only manage a 2

Okay...I tried to say how good Luigi was so someone could tell me he sucked. Then I could tell them why he&#39;s so good. First off Luigi has awsome ariel attacks. all 4 of em. ecspecially his mid air karate chop. Most people say mario&#39;s better. Luigis green rocket is way better than mario&#39;s silly cape. It&#39;s super powerfull&#33; And it&#39;s a great recovery move&#33; 150% damage+got hit+green rocket+green rocket ( or explosive rocket)+ coin punch= saftey. Sometime u can accidental get an explosive on and fly off the stage but you just have to know how to use it... His fire punch is awsome and not that hard to get off. The Luigi cyclone is good for group battles and try spinning across the ground; you go super far&#33; When they talk about Luigi having worse traction than his fat brother they make it sound like a bad thing&#33; Just try running, sliding, headbutting (Up smash) And watching your enemy go flying. And just try that with mario&#33; Heh&#33; ...His fire balls really suck and I never use em... but other than that he&#39;s a really good plumber&#33;(And his slow, dumb taunt does a single point of damage&#33; what more do you want&#33;)

I got it. I&#39;m pretty sure all you have to do is Aerial Down+A until time almost runs out then send it flying with the bat.

i use the Power Punch (Tap A and hold then release). i think u should use Kong. i got 177m

Yoshi&#39;s by far the best (use the method that Wraith mentioned and it needs to be the aerial smash down+a). It actually doesn&#39;t matter who you use but I&#39;ve only gotten the full distance with one other character. Oh, no offense alone but 177m is a really bad score when you&#39;re trying for the level.

yea a couple of times me and my friends get it over 1000 with various characters.

I&#39;m too lazy to spend long doing that but I did get it over 1000 with Roy so I think that&#39;s a bit of an achievement.

Ever try using Jigglypuff against Giga Bowser, Ganondorf, and Mewtwo? Hard to believe that I can with in that situation easy. XD

Jigglypuff is the best character to use in that battle. If you can master his instant kill move then the CPU players have next to no defense.

Jigglypuff&#39;s strongest attack is his instant kill move, down-B. If you press down+b when you are touching another character it will send them flying and will kill them regardless of the damage percentage. The easiest way to connect is to come from above and do it.

It&#39;s just a powerful as Roy&#39;s instant kill move and easier to land.

there is another one where if you are far away you can hold B
It will make him spin. The longer the spin the more powerful it gets

That&#39;s strong but everyone will be able to see it far in advance and avoid it so it ends up being more like a suicide run. Either way, the screech (down+B) is still the most powerful move. You can totally own event 51 with Jigglypuff when using screech because the targets are so big.

If you&#39;re fighting at Final Destination, there&#39;s nowhere to run, and even if they jum to avoid it, you can get Jiggly to hit it in reverse as they land.

Look at it his way, Jigglypuff with the roll move is an annoyance. Jigglypuff with screech is death from above.

How can you judge an instant kill move as not the most powerful? If Game and Watches move instant kills then it&#39;s the same power. Same as Roy&#39;s fulled charged hold-B attack. By the way, Jigglypuff doesn&#39;t suck, most people just suck with Jigglypuff. No character that has an easy instant kill move can suck.

Ummm... Luigi&#39;s fire punch is way better. With Jiggly garbage ya use it and it takes a few minutes for the stupid monster to wake up&#33; Jiggly puff just sucks&#33; Maybe its down be is okay. I&#39;ll just give ya that but what about everthing eles? Jigglypuff is HORRIBLE. I never said Jigglypuff was the best character, only that the screech move is powerful and that he didn&#39;t suck. Like Luigi, Jigglypuff is hard to master but if you do then you can be devastating with him (just like every other character in the game).

If you look a couple of posts back then you&#39;ll see I was mentioning some of Jigglypuff;s weaknesses too. I was just responding to your post that Game and watch had the most powerful move in the game (which is at least partially wrong because there isn&#39;t anything more powerful than instant kill). You may not like Jigglypuff but he doesn&#39;t suck. Also, Kirby has the same recovery ability as Jigglypuff so why does Jigglypuff need a secondary recovery move?

Oh, and Marth is the cooler character. He&#39;s also the better character for my style of play because of his better reach.

I say gannon. His super powered up B can cover half a mile and he does it so much... I hate it&#33; Then comes Mewtwo&#33; All his moves together are cheap. Expecially when fighting 2. after that is pichu and pikachu. It&#39;s justbecause of their down B. It&#39;s worse with more than one. But overall Gannons the cheapest&#33; In the hands of the computer anyways...

I&#39;ll use math to tell you why Luigi destroys Jigglypuff.

So you see if you practice alot with J you won&#39;t get better when he practices with L cause L is already a bigger number than J. Tis why there is such a thing as the best character in the game. Yeah, I know it&#39;s an old OLD topic, but I love this game. XD I want to revive it =P Plus if this convo above me still went on. I could Pown you with the Jig master. Luigi&#39;s up B is way weaker than the Instant Kill. Plus the Jig is good at the Bat challenge. =P But Ganandorf takes it all. Well the record I had with him was alittle over 1400.

But as I talk about that later on, My fav Character would have to be Link and Marth. Roy looks cooler but Marth&#39;s easier to use. My fav stage would have to be Final Destination, Hyrule Temple and on the Grayfox.

&#39;Yoshi&#39; is Japanese for (I believe) &#39;alright&#39;. Captain Falcon, Fox, Falco, and Luigi get annoying... My best characters are (from worst to best): Mr. Game and Watch (classic...), Mewtwo, Link, Zelda, Jigglypuff (that rest attack... XD ), Kirby, Roy, and Ness&#33; I can beat anybody with Ness... :shifty: My best friend is too good at Link...

Ganondorf is the best, IMHO. Too bad he&#39;s slow. T_T

I still can&#39;t get over Hyrule Temple&#39;s music. Its such a goodnew twist to the Zelda Overture. And I like the fact that its big. The bigger the levels the better. :D

First off Jigglypuff doesn&#39;t have an instant kill&#33;&#33; It just almost always works that way but it can fail. Luigi&#39;s fire punch is an instant kill half the time. Besides it takes a master like me to be able to use his up B to make it always fire and always an instant kill. Even if they have low damage you just start juggling them once there high in the air you jump up after them and use the fire punch. It works much better that way. This works best on a high platform like in Hyrule and I&#39;m a master at this.


Plus the Jig is good at the Bat challenge. What does that have to do with anything&#33;?&#33;

Marth can prevent juggling easily with a counter, though. =P Also, it&#39;s not a hairband, it&#39;s a crown, because he&#39;s a prince. And not just a prince, a betrayed prince. Come on, you can&#39;t deny that that makes him 5 times cooler. XD If you couldn&#39;t tell, that&#39;s who I use. =P

In all my SSB/SSBM history I&#39;ve gone unmatched, even beating my friends in 2v1 and 3v1 matches, until about 2 months ago, when I finally met a guitarist who was slightly better. ._. It crushed my dreams.

you obviously ain&#39;t good enough with jigglypuff to do it everytime. Meaning you can&#39;t be that good. It takes timing and skill to do it and timing is everything from a dodge to a counter. you cant juggle with a human player. There&#39;s a dodge move&#33;

I don&#39;t really like using marth even though he&#39;s one of my best characters. Dk&#39;s fun to use. Favourite character even though he ain&#39;t my best is fox. The reflector is just too good although everyone has one.

You can too juggle a human character&#33;&#33; With Luigi I just press up A and I do a back flip attack thing, they dodge that and I hit them while doing another back flip while still in the air. Luigi can do it three to four times with a single jump.

I prefer Link. I dunno... I just prefer his moves; I really try to take advantage of all of his projectile items. I need projectiles... Of course, I use his sword as well, which can inflict a fairly considerable amount of damage to your opponent(s), I suppose. I love his downward stab (tap down and A while in midair). If I&#39;m not Link, I play as Samus. Why? She&#39;s the only other character I can somewhat use.

As for my fav level, it&#39;s Hyrule Temple. It&#39;s big, and big=good&#33; I like the music there too, both the Zelda II temple theme and the alternate Fire Emblem theme.

I too like Link; He&#39;s my second most used character. I really like him for his smash attack. If you pressA twice He does a double smash. THis can work well if there just out of range and they underestimate you not forgetting you can do a double smash. Or if you do one smash and then they run in you can still hit em. I think Link&#39;s a begginer&#39;s character along with Fox and Marth/Roy but any of these character&#39;s takes a master to be good with them; Easy to learn, hard to master&#33;

okay then what happens if they hit you down in midair? you can&#39;t hit them all the time. Marth or Roy with their counter? lob items down at you? humans learn. maybe you can juggle but not for long.

I think that each character is the best depending on the players skills. I usually play as fox because he&#39;s more of a mind character with his high speed and lack in power. Also I like marth (maybe beacuse blue is my fav color) he is not as powerful as roy but his movements and cool japanese words just make me feel invincible&#33;&#33;

With the ssb on the revolution we can go online and stuff.

Its funny because im super good with them both but i have these freakin weaknesses. Im invincible with fox cept for that speed thing makes me fall off on my own at (not very often) times. And then theres Marth... It takes me so long to finally master his "rainbow sword technique" which is a great key to winning. If you master his hardest abillity and can already use the others you will be magnificent.

i do well with link.

Marth is the coolest because he is great and he is one of the only ones that speeks Japanese&#33;

Miyamoto said they are working on another SSB, assuming Nintendo isn't so dumb to launch 2 SSB's on the same console in the same year, it's probably for the DS.

This game is a brilliant game to sit down and play with friends. My favourite characters are Link and Fox. The easiest level has to be Hyrule because it's simply so vast and easy to survive in, but my favourite has to be Final Destination, it gives me an oppurtunity to properly destroy whoever I'm playing with :).

Me my fav charactor and best is ICE CLIMBERS my second is gannondorf. I L-cancel alot for gannon and with ice climbers wavedash and spamming d-smash and u-smash alot. in my town im 2nd best so ^_^ im happy. To bad noone else to play with around here

I use Pikachu most often, mostly to annoy my friends :P I think Pikachu has a shorter short-hop time requirement, though, because I can never seem to short-hop with Pikachu, though I can do it with most other characters...oh well, even without short-hop, Pikachu has some nasty ground-to-air and air-to-ground moves ^^

Kinda old but it is my favorite game. I'm best with Yoshi (he's so cute)

N64: I mastered Fox for a long time, went to Captan Falcon for a while, and then switched to the master of disaster: Ness. Ness can and will destroy all opponents with his PK thundar and PK fire, not mentioning his smash move with his bat (I mannaged to perfect the tallent of refelect Fox's laser with Ness' bat; It's fun to reflect things back at your opponents)

Ness was the only person i had problems beating when used by someone good.

My fav. characters are: MARIO, Ness, Dr. Mario, and Samus Aaron.
Level: Ummm... I forgot what it's called, but I think it's Hyrule castle.

.... and the weird part is, my least fav. charater is... Link... @_@ I don't know why! I suck with him!

lol ness was horrible and i still consider him horrible. Hes very easy to beat but the only problem is when he floats around cus its unpredictable. If he uses the pk thunder and shoots himself like a projectile, just treat him like a baseball and thwak him.

Smack them with something to stun them for the brief second and smack em around with the Roy finisher. Maybe grab one of the laser drops and spam back?

Try signing up for a tournament. It's true in these tournaments almost everyone is as good in the videos but I'm only an average player and did well against them. Alot of them become too focus on the same killer moves so there is a chance they become easy to read:shifty:. I was in a tournament in orange county a few years back. It was team theme and my little brother and me did pretty well. We may have lost but I believe we were in the top 10 teams (we were called team Lemos).

Aren't they rumors? Tips and Tricks, I think, said you had to kill 10 or 15 enemies in cruel melee to get Sonic and Tails. It turns out they lied as a April fools joke and even gave out free Sonic Adventure 2:Battle games for the Gamecube as a way of saying sorry to everyone (including me-_- ). It was only for like a certain number of people though who sent videos of their efforts. Don't fool around by giving false info like that. It's bad enough for people like me who spent countless hours trying to get them to hear more lies.<_< Believe me, one of those people had killed over 60 with Jiggypuff but still Sonic and Tails were nowhere to be found.

They ARE a hoax, otherwise it would say on a site like gamefaqs how to get them. Smash Bros is about classic Nintendo characters, not Sonic.

Midget Vampire! (aka meta knight, but my name's cooler)

The midget vampire is indeed cool. ^_^ It can be hard to ko people easy w/ him, since he rely on fast attacks but no real good knockback, except for maybe his up b or his smash down attack, (needs to play more to see) but he can play a mean aerial game and done right, can be quite good at keep away w/ the smash ball. Anyone else noticed that the pokemon trainer sounds like.... idk... kinda like Ash but a bit off? :think: I'll be playing the game tomorrow or maybe Friday since we had to order it on-line since all those brawl fans made all the wii sold out like everywhere in LA. =_=

JF7X, Japan and the US friendcodes are different, and you have different servers. I don't think you'd be able to play here. But I'm not positive..

Heh, I got them too. ^^ I just been trying to unlock all the songs right now. I even made a cd factory stage to collect them faster. I can make a blueprint of mine if anyone cares enough. (theme of stage is Tetris type B since it can take a while so it's nice to have a song like that going on and on and on and on. :heh: ) You need to have nothing on but sandbags on and set it to high. You should also use someone who can attack really really fast like Kirby's rapid punch but I found it better to use Meta Knight and his neutral b move since it can rapidly attack all the bags faster and if you make his go up w/ it, you'll have an easier time telling when a cd or sticker is near you. (this is also a great way to get stickers as well)
Note: You should try this only after you unlock all the stages, characters and I think SSE as well.

Heh, I think I'm gonna main Kirby. He's a lot more fun to play then he was in Melee (since he been buffed up) and he got more uselful moves this time w/ more knockback. I really like how they changed his side B move (hammer attack) where it's like using it on the ground but he can uses it twice per move and it doubles as a way to get back to the stage when just flying back won't help. I wish I could fight some of you but until I get dsl I might as well practice till that day comes. :\

I really like Toon Link and Pit. Toon Link is a faster, smaller version of Link. And Pit I just like him a lot. Olimar and Sonic were a huge disappointment. In my point of view.

Played Brawl for the first time about week ago. Pretty sweet, but aside from the new characters and pretty graphics, I think I can live with just my melee.

I find it funny. The character I'm worse with in Melee (Samus) I'm the best with in Brawl. (Zero suit samus is a love/hate relationship as of now) and the character I'm best with in Melee (Ganon) I'm horrible with in Brawl (He's just too damn slow. That and I had some pretty sweet combo moves that just don't exist in Brawl. =[) And as usual Marth is by backup (good 'ol Marth).

I use Zelda/Shiek in Melee. In Brawl, I don't really have a character, cuz I don;t even own a Wii, but I tend to use Pit or Zelda. I am AMAZING!!

lol Zelda just seem to own in brawl. In melee, she wasn't all that great and Shiek was just everyone really used then. Now, it's like reversed. XD I play a whole lot better as Zelda than I do w/ Shiek. So much in fact that I actually main w/ Zelda now. (mained Marth in melee)

Some guys in my dorm play all the time. Kirby is generally used by the newbies. The SSBB master of our dorm can beat us all with any character, but he prefers Ivysaur. His mis-air up-A attack is nasty. All of us prefer Final Destination with no items.

No way, Marth definitely takes more skill, because his hits do so little damage. With ike, you only need to get a few hits in to mess somebody up.

as with the damage thing, he does a decent amount iirc, depending on which part of the sword you hit the opponent with. so yes more skill is definately involved with marth due to the fact you often are trying to keep a mind on distance so you can hit with the tip rather than the middle of the sword, as you do more damage that way.

as with the damage thing, he does a decent amount iirc, depending on which part of the sword you hit the opponent with. so yes more skill is definately involved with marth due to the fact you often are trying to keep a mind on distance so you can hit with the tip rather than the middle of the sword, as you do more damage that way.

What I like about the game is that its easy to pick up. Even though I do not have the game myself, I pratically beat anyone that I faced.
