Osu! is a rhythm game based off Elite Beat Agents on Nintendo DS.

There is a very large community of players and beatmap makers. See some examples below of what the game is like. Scroll a little further to get the game, grab some maps and get clicking! Simple as that!

Guide
The original game was meant to be played with the DS touchscreen, but it's fun on the computer as well (and it helps you build up your mouse accuracy, right?). Anyways, Osu! consists of three elements--hit circles, sliders, and spinners--timed to music.

Hit Circles:

Tap when the circle reaches the rim of the button. Better timing nets you more points

Sliders:

Click when the circle reaches the rim (as before), but hold and drag to the 2nd circle. If there is a reverse symbol (shown below), drag back after you reach the end of the path.

Spinners:

Click, hold, and spin in circles (both clockwise and counter-clockwise is fine). The faster you spin, the faster you fill the bars on the left and right. You need to reach the top to pass, and any overflow goes into bonus points.

im Zephyra on OSU as well, i've played for abt a year since i took a lng break from Osu after the 1st 6 mnths. :D made a few beatmaps as well altho none of them are ranked T.T

Apparently my laptop can't even handle Osu gotta wait a week until I get my quad core up and running.

Impressive. I never seem to get FC, if you can get FC on that map... well, your much better than me.

One thing I have problems with is hitting a beat quickly after a spinner. When I spin, my grip on the mouse changes, so either I get a 300 spin and possibly miss the next beat or miss the spin and hit the beat.

I assume you use mouse/keyboard?

haha no, i hax and use a tablet + keyboard. I used 2 play on the mouse and im seriously bad with it.

Graphics tablet = external hacking equipment. so really im not that good lol.

its the next best thing after touch screens.
Basically it will bmp u from a rank A from a normal mode to a rank B in insane. which is quite abit.
well to me anyways, mayb im just a born tablet user.

took me around 4games to adjust to the tablet (since i was using it to draw b4 using it for OSU so tht might have helped). Alot of people find it awkward but u get used 2 it sooner rather than later.

Played this for a probably 2 years and I still suck at the main game mode. If it wasn't for taiko and catch the beat I would never hear a whole song.
