So I am Australian. I don't watch the NBA. And yet, I've heard of the new point guard rookie on the NY Knicks who has led them to 7 wins in a row.

Jeremy Lin.

After watching the Jeremy Lin show on youtube (youtube it, there are highlights of his games in past few days) I couldn't believe it. This guy is good. Whenever he drives the ball to the basket, he is in control. Also reading about the difficulties he had in getting drafted (mainly his ethnicity) made me all the more impressed.

Anyone else stunned at the LINSANITY we are seeing?

I've been following up on him ever since he was picked up by the Golden State Warriors two years ago. I'm happy for him to see him rising amongst the all-stars so quickly. The Knicks were the only team that actually gave him a chance to play in the NBA, because before, he only played 2 minutes ever since he was with the Warriors. He didn't even play a single second when he was picked up by the Lakers and the Rockets. The Knicks really gave him the heading start to being a legit NBA all-star. Respect to a fellow Asian.

I think the only reason is because several team-mates couldn't play (one injured, I think stoudemire's brother died in a car accident) so they went to him as emergency. That's the crazy part.

He's a real role model. Down-to-earth, Christian, and humble.

Hardcore NBA fans might say that he was black nobody would notice his balling skills, which might be true, but it doesn't matter. People watch Jeremy Lin to watch Jeremy Lin.

Let's just say that when he opens his mouth, I close mine.
