Ok so now I haven't brought this up or thought about it for a good while till a few days ago. So now I'm back into doing my own manga, but this time my goal is a little more realistic. I'm going for a simple web comic that will be pretty short and only have one arc.
So here's my general idea:

One day, (guys name) suddenly finds himself in a strange reality where he and his family don't seem to exist. In this world he finds out that he can not only control and move in our familiar three dimensions of height width and depth but in three more hyperspatial dimensions allowing him in a sense to control reality in six dimensions. Note, Only him and may'be another person can do this.

I wanted to do something on this strange concept of higher dimensions that isn't too mathmatics based. Though I definately am researching it for ideas and so I can understand it myself a bit. There will be some science in here though but in a comical way probably. I wanted to do a story set in a made up country europe or something to get away from my usual japanese ranting, but I'm having trouble finding a good name for him. Can someone suggest a cool polish name for him? I like polish names and probably will use that for the people in the story in his area.

I'm working on a neat promotional pic thing right now so I'll post it when I finish it. I'm only in the idea stage. Meanwhile you can take a look at a 30 minute sketch I did a week ago of some random character from my bro's book:

It's nothing good but I thought I'd post it so you could see some of how I draw people a bit. Take a look at the few penciled pics on my deviant art. :)

As for the dimensions, you may be wondering "What the heck are they?" well, I'll have to be very inventive with them. Keep in mind that calling time the fourth dimension does not apply in this series or the strange reality he's in at least. Let's just say that time for all intensive purpose is either the seventh dimension or not a dimension at all. ^^

So far I have an idea for the fourth dimension which is "Field" which would be like moving inward and outward in reality. Very hard to explain so I'll just leave it as it gives him the ability to move as light moves. We can be in a room and outside a room, but he can be between a room. I'll leave that to hurt your brain a bit.

As for five and six I have no idea about but I'll get to it later.

Name of series is either Glasses or Surface, Surface being that the way we move is the surface of these three other dimensions or Glasses being that the dimensions are compared to glass panes. I dunno, I also thought of layers but that's a magazine.

EDIT - I think I'm set on the Name "Slide" which suggests moving in higher dimensions somewhat.

Is this dead now, or what? Let's go! =D

Oh, yeah. I've got a heck of alot more plot info now!

Although I still haven't tried to really pick a name, the character is a street guy which used to be part of a gang of thugs who each possess a special ability. He's lived on the street his whole life and used to hang out with these rough characters until he watched as a friend of his was murdered by the 2nd leader. So now he's
questioning if how he lives is right or wrong. One thing about virtually all shonen action adventure manga is that they have a quick story with alot of action. I wanted my story to be deeper and more complicated and not so direct. Plus, this guy is not another Naruto Uzuamki, most heros are too nice and always do what's right no matter what ect... This guy (because of his street background) is not super nice and sometimes will have trouble deciding to do the right thing. But in a sense is still loveable.

By the way, he can control space in ways other than moving in other dimensions.

....So, have you started actually making the comic yet?
I've been waiting to see some art from it for like a year now. =P
GET TO IT! XD
