Hello everybody ,

I know ichogo's for a while but I just discovered the forum today...and It is a true pleasure to listen to others composers =D

I decided to share a composition with my presentation , i wait for your advices :)

About me : I am a 23yo pianist from belgium (sorry if my english isn't perfect), I'm currently student in piano jazz in the Brussel Royal Conservatory( 3rd year) , i have already studied classical in superior school but now i mainly play jazz. I love to compose music and watch animes so this forum is perfect for me :D.

So here is my composition, over Elfen Lied, one of my favorite anime, the video is by me too.

The part at 1:57 is an improvisation over a Cm7 chord

It's a nice composition. Well done. I liked the intro. I would have not noticed the improvisation part if you did not mention it.

I loved it. You should try to add in a few more instruments in the future. Maybe you could do a violin+piano piece?
^^

Cool. Have you thought of putting your composition up for download as an mp3?

My thoughts watching this video: "The hell…?"

The music is that righteous mix of kinda classical + jazzy which equals J-Pop. I'm pretty sure that's what you were going for, so congrats.

I just have to say how much I enjoyed listening to this...

The juxtaposition of styles and off kilter feel worked well with the AMV, but I was left wanting more development- have you thought about elaborating on the themes you have already?

kudos from a fellow conservy student :) xx
