Im talking about the old 1963 version, where all the cartoon were done with puppets and i dont know with what else...

i was watching Boomerang and saw one episode: conclusion - the creaters really put their effort into it...

superb...

might as well mention the new movie from the creaters of South Park: Team America (?)

I liked the old ones . . saw some episodes again recently, brought up memories . . so it may not be the greatest show in the world, but watching the puppets move around is still pretty cool.

What's Boomerang? How does it relate to Thunderbirds? Anyways, there's already a topic for Team America somewhere here . .

Thunderbirds is wicked. Watching it thesedays you can really tell how much work and effort they did put into making that show.

I love it.

Was my childhood TV show. ^_^

"Boomerang" is Cartoon Network's premium "nostalga" channel where they show all of Hanna-Barbera's "Classic" '60s Saturday Morning cartoons. (i.e. "Space Ghost", "The Herculoids", "Frankenstein Jr.", "The Impossibles"...) The list goes on and on and I'm old enough to have seen quite a few of them... B)

Whadaya mean no Cartoon Network in Canada?!!! Aaahhhhh

Im still in wonder about some of the effect they created: in one episode we see a plane taking off. Obviously its a model, but man, we see the flames from the engine, the fumes, the dust that it kicks up... Wow!!!

Yeah, Derek Meddings was quite the SFX wiz in his day.
