Hello everybody! I'm new here. :)
These are the first midis I've made. The first one is just a happy, short piece intended to be a chorus but I dunno if I'm going to finish it. (It's a little bit out of synch but it's so hard to fix it afterwards :sweatdrop: )
The second one is a piece in its full length. It's an rpg:ish song. Please give me your comments and tips! Thanks! :)

Personaly I like it but theres no buts its happy and I think this would make a good themesong for you but it reminds me of some games I played before nice and sweet! ^_^

The timing feels... odd? I mean, I like it though! It's very cutesy, reminded me of "Bubble Bubble," a really old video game. I think you should really develop this idea more. Your 27 seconds of bubbliness could amount to a lot more if you kept going. ^^

I agree with michael =) it's nice and cute/bubbly . . you said this was for a chorus in a piece, so is it to be sung? Are there lyrics? Are there backup instruments, or was what we heard the actual singing parts?

I think it is really cute, but you should keep on going! (I can't criticize much since the only piece I ever wrote was completely demented! :heh: ) Keep up the good work!! ^_^

I haven't written lyrics for it, and that's all there is to it so far. I might add some verses if I get inspired. I'm working on another song right now :sweatdrop: Maybe I'll post it when it's finished :)

The second one would be awesome if played by a full orchestra, believe me. Too bad none of us can get that, yet X_X I have no specific comments, but I have a few.

Pretty good intro, but the sudden strings ruin the mood a bit, try to use Slow Strings instead. Also, I'd like to hear a flute part after the main melody instead of suddenly going back to the piano introduction. It was mostly that what ruined this song. ;_;

Does any1 think that the first one reminds them of Conde Petie, from FFIX? I really like it, and I think you should DEFINITELY elaborate, add in a key change or different strain, you know, stuff that gradually adds to the complexity until you have a nice, full-sounding piece. I like the kind that's simple, too. Most of my earlier pieces were much like that. All in all, good job :thumb: (I love the variety of the smileys here)

Hello! And thanks for the criticism and ideas. :) Yeah, I agree with you Noir7, it would sound better if there was something more before the end intro. I might still edit it and try adding something. Anyway, thanks for the comments guys. :)

I agree with Noir7 about adding the flute and orchestra's for your second song. Yet, i love the 2nd piece, simple listening and a great feeling towards it. This is my first time listening to something like this, I love it! keep up the good work!

Although...the second one should&#39;ve been longer <_< becuase i loveeee it sooo much&#33;&#33; really relaxing, ....ok where&#39;s my video controllers, I want to play games now. ^_^
