What are your favorite scored scenes?

It can be anything from anime/cartoons, TV series, movies, or video games.

It is not just about music that sounds good to you, but music that you think it fits very well with the scene too.

I will start with the stampede scene from The Lion King:

That scene from Kickass, where Hitgirl kills the goons that want to execute her father and Kickass in absolute darkness. That Scene, the emotions produced by Hitgirl having to see her father die, together with that awesome soundtrack, there's just one word to describe it: Epic!

This is the flying scene from the third Harry Potter movie. By John Williams
Too bad the last few seconds are cut off, but I thought this scene was fantastically scored.

The ending of Death Note. By Hirano Yoshihisa
The conclusion briefly returns to the 'Kyrie' theme. Did anyone else notice the similarity between Death Note's Kyrie and Ravel's Pavane for a Dead Princess?

The other phone call from ef - a tale of memories. By Tenmon.
Not as closely choreographed as stuff in movies, but this scene had a deep impact on me.

It seems a lot of anime composers do a fine job of writing beautiful music, but pay less attention to how it interacts with the scenes they accompany. Maybe it's a time/budget thing?

While it wasn't in the original movie back in the 40s, I still think that this is the best found scoring to date:

The final scene in Warrior. If you haven't seen this movie, it's a must see. It's not your typical fighting/action movie at all. It's more closer to something like Million Dollar Baby
