Has anyone seen the anime or read the manga of Ranma 1/2 ? I've read the whole manga (at http://groups.msn.com/MangaDepotRanmaDepartment/) and it was really funny... though a little repetitive..... I was mostly wondering if anyone had seen the anime, so I could compare...
I've been thinking of buying the anime, but I'd probably have to get a job, first... I think there's about the same amount of episodes to Ranma as there are for Inuyasha... which means my wallet will start crying and I'll have to stay dressed in rags for a bit longer.. :'(
Oh well... A short synopsis of Ranma 1/2 :: Boy is betrothed to girl(s) he's never met. Boy (& father) fall in magical hotspring that curses them. Boy now turns into girl when touched with cold water. Boy and Father decide to go mooch off Boy's fiance(s). Everything gets veeeeeeery confused.
It doesn't help that Ranma's a top martial artist who's always getting into fights and things as well.....
Oh well... that's a sucky summary... but it's a good story. There are a few similarities between Inuyasha and Ranma (well, a LOT, really..) but Ranma's a bit less serious and has quite a few more less realistic situations... :D
go read...... or watch... :)
