you grab a gif.editor from the net that lets you make animated .GIF files, then you edit each frame by frame.. a lot of work

^I found that 2 was good, but I'm not certain that it would stick as an avaitar.

#3 is softer on the eyes than all the rest, but is is also the most plain. #1 is good, but it doesen't loop the animation back(if it did I'd choose that)
