Next project is Fukai Mori :) CookieLord - once Fukai Mori is done I'll have a shot at doing a second part to Change the World so you can do a flute duet with your clarinettist, as there were a lot of chords and whatnot in the piece so it's easy enough to have a second part running alongside.

Chikorita - the flute's lowest note is middle C? If so transposing it up an octave should do the trick, as the lowest note in that piece is the Ab below middle C.

Only if someone had Itazura No Kiss, Angelus, One Day, One Dream and Brand New World. Those are the one I'm looking for the most, but anything will do as long as it's for clarinet and/or sax alto. If it's not a bother can you just transpose My Will or Every Heart for clarinet? I'd do it myself, but I'm too much of a newb in transposing @_@. If not, it's okay, I'll try and learn how to transpose and practice a bit...

Try playing the clarinet version. It should work since Clarinet and Alto saxophone are very similar. If you can play the clarinet, then you can play the alto saxophone. ^_^

IS any1 picking up I Am - Flute? I see it on request page (1st post) but it hasn't been fufilled yet, I'm just wondering if any1 picked this up.

I play flute too, if anyone wants flute versions of something, most of the time you can just use the top line of piano music, if the notes are too low for flute, just use a higher octave, and vise-versa if its too high. But most of the notes are nearly the same ^_^

grrr i would transcribe "I AM" but sadly i cant find the music and ive never heard it before :crybaby: lol so poo on that part... if you can find a site with the songs on it, ill be glad to transcribe!

The flute and violin are both C instruments, right? Assuming that the music sheet from here (http://forums.ichigos.com/index.php?showtopic=3265&st=0&#entry98469) plays the singing part (I haven&#39;t played the music sheet myself), and the flute doesn&#39;t play any notes that are "out of range" of the violin, then it&#39;s the same difference. You know what? I can erase "Flute" from the music sheet and replace it with "Violin" and you won&#39;t know the difference.

(this is probably getting annyoing by now) i noticed that there is flute music for shinjitsu no uta, no more words, and ai no uta. well, all i can find anywhere is flute music. i would like piano music for those songs, if anyone has them or has better luck with google than i do. (i have no search engine skills at all). thank you. ^^

If it's too high, then play an octave lower, simple as that. If you think the notes in the improvisation are too high, then make your own improv solo. You don't have to play exactly what it says, because it's an improvisation. I'll definately add lyrics if you (or someone) gives them to me. I will give credit to whoever made the lyrics by ear.

If you find clarinet music, that counts as tenor sax music too! A lot of books these days cater for tenor sax and clarinet, since they are the same pitch.

I know what an oboe is. It's a double-reeded instrument that resembles the clarinet, only more reedier and pipier. The reason why it's ignored is because it's in the SAME KEY AS A FLUTE, VIOLIN AND JUST ABOUT EVERY OTHER C INSTRUMENT!

C Instruments: Flute, Oboes, Violins, Piano (top part), Guitars. Piccolo players go up an octave.
Bb Instruments: Tenor Sax, Clarinet, Trumpet.
Eb Instruments: Alto Sax, Bari?
Using the C Clef:Viola. Cello and Violin players may find this occasionally.
Bass Clef: Cellos, Double Basses, Bass Guitar, Tubas, Trombones.

Same fingerings yes, but different keys. I think it has the same notes as a tenor sax, but it'll be in a different key.

they play in a different key. tenor music doesn't follow the same patterns as altos due to range differences... bari and alto are in the same key I think... Tenor music sounds smoother and usually they end up with better tone since alto is the easiest according to my teacher. sorry about posting twice in a row, but I just finished reading all the posts up to this point and the edit wasn't working earlier... sorry

Well, I've searched all over the web for sheet music for Angelus and had no luck. So, I attempted to transcribe it myself... there are still a number of bugs to work out but if someone wants to try their hand at fixing them and convert the midi to sheet music that would be fantastic.
