My brother will probably end up buying it, so eventually I will read it . . I agree with Alone, they're not the best books, but they're certainly interesting. And I am very curious as to what happens next!!

after i read the 4 book, i was like: there's no way she'll manage to write a sequal - too much stuff already happened, but she did....

Harry's a wimp - cant tell a girl that he loves her >_<

Harry Potter, eh? I think it's all being stretched out a lot. I guess I'll read it (my mother still thinks I read HP books, when they first came out I was in Enfants/Juniors X_X) because it's around my birthday, and someone's bound to buy it for me.

why do i think Rowling started running out of ideas on the 5th book..it's not as interesting as the other 4...i hope the 6th is good, eh well always looking forward to HP books, NOT MOVIES! i wonder who actually enjoy watching HP

The latest HP movie was an hour shorter than the other two. X_X They're beginning to slack already. And I really don't like the way the actor who plays Harry acts... X_X He's so embarassing to watch!

i realy disslike the movies, they dont do the books any justice -_-
they miss out all the side plot that makes the ending slot into place, the bits that realy MAKE the story

Yes, I can't wait!! Best part is, it comes out the day before my b-day. I always read them in one day. I am obsessed. ^_^

I absolutely hate the movies. I used to really like the books, but they've just got so overhyped now, and the skill in the writing seems to be giving away to what people want to read. Since I first started reading them of course, I have discovered a lot which are a whole HEAP better. But I probably will check out the 6th book from the library at some point, although I don't think they're worth buying anymore when I don't like them that much.

What I'm wondering about this book is why is it split into adults and childrens versions.
Even then both of the versions have topped the amazon top 10 books list(if memory serves right)

What do you mean, an adults version and a children's version? Or are you talking about hardcover or paperback? o.0

Personally, I actually enjoyed the first book. It was interesting, and I loved it. However, the other books were...Blah. JK Rowling is running out of good ideas.

Book 4 was pretty naff, IMO - too much stuff added in for the sake of it. Book 5 was a bit better as it added in some new characters, but it's developed Harry's character really poorly - the Cho Chang thing was just blah  I'll read the 6th book but I don't hold very high hopes - I think the quality has deteroriated with the increase in length :( Y'know, LOTR and Hornblower are the only set of book-based movies that actually did their source books justice - Harry Potter, Angela's Ashes and many others that I've seen have just been absolutely crap when you compare them with the books. Well, Angela's Ashes wouldn't've been that bad if I hadn't read the book first, but the Harry Potter movies... gah X_X The only expression Daniel Radcliffe is capable of is stunned mullet: :o

There are two editions of this book give me a sec to find the page on amazon(uk)....here we go: http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/tg/sto...0617317-5846843 (http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/tg/stores/static/-/books/amazon-bestsellers/ed_best_h__h/026-0617317-5846843)

If it was just a diffrence of hardback and paperback I don't think they would be sold as two diffrent editions and anyway they bring out the hardback editions first usualy then the paperbacks

the first few books turned out really great, but when things get lengthy it starts to get a bit boring... and harry's temper has gotton worse, which didn't aid things much...

I am not suprised at all. No wonder she made BLACK die in the 5th book I think she couldn't make the story intresting anymore with Black in it I mean he does nothing! Nothing at all. The movie was crazy! One of my friends drag me to the Movie theater the day Harry Potter the 3rd movie came out. The movie was off track with the book. I sort of dozed off during the movie and woke up when the willow was attacking them.

I know exactly what your saying. The third movie was worse that all the others. (IT'S ALL THE SPANISH GUY'S FAULT [The director]) The others were OKAY. The fifth HP book was fine to me (definately better than that third movie :P) Sirius was a boring person I really couldn't have cared less that he died. I was only sad because harry loved him so much

Yes she is. She looks even better now that she's got her eyebrows done

I think the movies are bad, I espacially love the third book and I'm glad that Gary Oldman play Sirius Black. He was awesome! But the first and the second movie were very bad... I can't wait till the 6th book.
