do you have a serious obsession with a tv show or movie/series of movies or a song? explain it

i have an obsession with medievel movies because i watch the same 2 medievel movies a week: king arthur, troy
since they came out, i've watched both about 10 times already and they only came out a month-few weeks ago

Last september, I saw the first episode of Hikaru no Go, and I just thought it was so cool XD Anyways, I made my dad buy me the box set of Hikaru no Go and I bought the first two books of the manga series and the 2004 Spring Special DVD myself. For Christmas, I got a whole Go set (board, stones, and all that other stuff), $50 worth of Go books, and also Hikaru no Go 3 (for GCN and GBA). And I also bought the soundtracks, 'Hikaru no Go - Theme Song Selection' and 'Hikaru no Go - Hikaru Mirai E' and I have a poster of Hikaru no Go on my wall (along with some other anime/game posters/wallscrolls).

Well, I'm not that obsessed anymore, cause I ceased going to the Go club in my school, I stopped playing Go at home, I can't move on in Hikaru no Go 3, I got tired of the anime after watching the whole series two times, and I stopped listening to the soundtracks on the way to, from, and during school cause listening to the songs over and over again (no matter how good they are) was way too much for me x.X

i am obsessed with the book series of himura kenshin, also im completely addickted to the secret of mana series, 'specialy seiken densetsu 3....

Troy isn't medievil, it's based on Greek mythology which is older than that.

you get the basic point, action movies without guns and bombs and instead they use swords and bows+arrows

I got obsessed by Lord of the Rings, when I heard that there will be a trilogy in the cinema, I was very curious and surprised and what an amazing project&#33; Love the books a bit more, but the movies are awesome&#33;&#33;&#33;

I&#39;m sort of obsessed with Sacrifice right now.

I frequently get completely obsessed with TV shows, which then ALWAYS get trashed. When they finally reappear again, i never like them as much anymore. But I guess I&#39;m kinda obsessed with Buffy since I still buy most of the books and own season 4 onwards, and can&#39;t seem to stop watching it. Charmed too, only less so.

Heh, my pet obsession was The Bill (UK cop show, yes, I know, it&#39;s sad, but it was good once upon a time&#33;) - I watched it from 1997 (1998 actually but Aus were really far behind) to 2004 and I did everything; forums, fanfic, meeting the cast, the lot XD I met loads of really great people through a common interest in this show, and crap as it&#39;s become (*shoots executive producer*) I still owe a lot to it for the great friends in my life at the moment (and my bf&#33; :D)

Tolkien, and all his works. Also the Lord of the Rings movies were amazing.

You bet&#33; I am completely obsessed with Rurouni Kenshin, Fruits Basket, and Tolkein&#33; (I&#39;m always afraid I&#39;ll spell his name wrong. :P ) Why?.....Well, mostly because all of them make me feel really good&#33; The characters all have great lines and besides being entertaining, there are a lot of things about life to be learned. These are such feel-good stories&#33; Here&#39;s a few quotes from Kenshin so maybe you can see what I mean.

heh, theres the question of what was first - Lord of the Rings or the Sword of Shannarah; I have reason to suspect that Tolkien copied the story LotR from this book, and just added a new race...

Well, I did have one a while ago. I was obsessed with the song Cruel Angel&#39;s Thesis. I played it on the piano every day and I listened and hummed it over and over again.

Though obsession would be a bit of a strong word, it seems like I have quite the thing for the Devil May Cry series. Another thing is that I find myself often comparing situations in my life to the events in the anime titled "Rurouni Kenshin", as well as "Great Teacher Onizuka". These things I think about quite often, as the series, well, most of the series on the Rurouni Kenshin part, was quite good (in my opinion) and I realy enjoyed them.

I have a very special interest in Final Fantasy. I own several of the series, and I play dozens of the Final Fantasy songs, and even programmed a simple Al Bhed translator. The music though, particularly To Zanarkand, really inspires me.

I don't think I've seen too many times, but if I wanted to, I can recite the whole movie, with the same tone as each character and a different voice to mimic their voice actor, all the way from: "Where is it?" in the title screen and "Now what?" at the end. It seriously scares my friends when I start to sing "Just keep swimming, just keep swimming, just keep swimming, swimming, swimming," and cracks other people up. o.O I don't understand why.

I have a huge problem with obsessions; it seems like I'm always in love with some form of media, especially movies. Right now I'm obsessed with Lord of the Rings (since Return of the King) and M. Night Shyamalan's movies. As for shows, I really like House MD even though I usually stay far far far away from doctor dramas. I just heard Regina Spektor for the first time a few months ago so I like her music a lot right now......Who knows!? that will all probably change by next week.

I also seem to have an obsession with the song "Wir tanzen im 4-eck" (We are dancing in a square) by Stereo Total. I just can't get the lyrics out of my head :music:! I've also been told I have an obsession with cars (hence my forum name) and foreign languages (hence the German music).
