So with my manga loot running through my mind, scenes in anime mostly, I've often wondered if america will ever produce anime like japan. Not like Avatar the last air bender but more like bleach but of american manga like LOOT and with english opening and ending songs that change every season.

I think it'd be sweet but I doubt it will happen.

It's not likely, the cultural background in America is too different. As Americans are more action oriented people, artistic components tend to confuse more than engage the mass public. Also, while people are more outspoken, it's rare to ever find someone that will take initiative to do something different. We're all cookie cutter.

Not that I know of. Manga turning into anime is primarily Japan as far as I know.

I mean, technically in Japan you make a manga and if it's good it gets turned into an anime. In America though - as far as I know - it's only one or the other. Make a manga, or make an anime. "Take your pick", you know? I mean, unless it's really good... But even then I doubt it'd be as Japanese-style as Bleach. It'd be more like Avatar I believe.

But I want to be a manga artist, myself. In order to do it right though, I know I have to go to Japan. In fact, that path has led me to learning the Japanese language and culture so much so that now I'm in love with Japan pretty much even more than anime and manga! Actually, because I started learning the language, I'm going on an exchange to Japan next Friday. Seriously, the whole "path of a manga artist" is giving me quite the life adventure.

BUT, back to your question... I don't think it'll be as authentic. =/ You should either think about learning Japanese as fluent as a Native and living in Japan, or you should team up with someone who's Japanese and ask them to go directly to a manga company to try and get it published. Just my advice.

But hey, anything can happen.

hmm...i haven't watched the anime but only because i'm still following the Manga (which is on chapter 213 right now). IT"S SUCH A GOOD MANGA! I really should watch the anime since the manga is so amazing but i kinda don't want to go so far back since the anime storyline is maybe only about half way thru the manga storyline.
