Yeah, I think .hack//GIFT was something you got after completing all four games (in the Japanese version anyway). But I&#39;ve seen that, it&#39;s quite funny. ^.^

Hehe, I love Full Metal Panic Fumoffu, it&#39;s so funny. I saw the first 8 episodes and laughed my arse off. Witch Hunter Robin is pretty cool if you get over the really dark atmosphere, I mean the brightest things in the whole anime are Robin&#39;s hair and eyes. I&#39;m obsessed with Midori no Hibi because of the utter cuteness and I have been dying to see Jyunikoki and She:The Ultimate Weapon.

I&#39;ve watched a bit of Sunday&#39;s Dreamers and it&#39;s cute but the story line has been taking ages to lift off. Urgh....I didn&#39;t like Haibane Renmei as much as all my friends think I do.. @_@ the storyline was way too Japanese* for me.

Gatekeepers 21 isn&#39;t anything like the original series. The gates are mostly summoned using mobile phones, there&#39;s no humour and it&#39;s much shorter. It&#39;s ok, but don&#39;t expect anything light hearted as the original series.

Downloading offline? There are anime fansubbing groups that, if I&#39;m not mistaken, capture, sub, and release anime that are being broadcasted on TV in Japan.

*sigh* you guys watch a lot of recent animes. Meanwhile, I&#39;m watching all these old ones (Ranma, Evangelion, Lupin the III, DBZ, DB). Probably the latest series that I&#39;ve seen are Naruto and Inuyasha. I&#39;ve seen many others, I just can&#39;t seem to remember any of them right now :D

Very beautiful, great storyline, beautiful music.. very -- very nice, totally got me hooked.
not to mention nudity and extreme violence though.. definitely not meant for the weak-hearted

I finally finished GK21 just now and I must say that I am kinda disappointed. There were so many mysteries that were unsolved at the end that I actually went searching for answers to them and the results totally threw most of my assumptions out the window.

I&#39;d dearly *LOVE* the 3rd "InuYasha" movie&#33; :wub: I also wouldn&#39;t mind getting "My Neighbor Toturo", A complete "Space Cruiser Yamato" set (all three seasons...Yeah, right...), "Kiki&#39;s Delivery Service", "Project A-ko", "Supergal" and "Ikzer One" (and about a dozen others whose titles I can&#39;t remember at the moment...) on DVD.

im reading the .hack//sign manga, and love hina, and catching up on ranma 1/2... also the english rk mangas (my name hence)

now currently watching elfen lied, DearS, Tenjou Tenge, n Madlax

I can&#39;t wait for PeaceMaker Kurogane to come out next week. Woo-hoo&#33; Awesome samurai anime (mah favorite genre :P ). Not as kick-butt as Kenshin, but still kick-butt&#33; And it&#39;s about the Shinsengumi. Double bonus. And Bakumatsu. Triple bonus.

That&#39;s about the only new one I&#39;m getting into right now...still don&#39;t know why no one has dubbed naruto yet, but that&#39;s probably gonna be a bad thing depending on the company that gets it. -_-

Are you enjoying Full Metal Alchemist? I own 9 of the R2 DVD&#39;s (without subtitles X_X) but got the basic story. Obviously I am enjoying it :P

Do you know anywhere I could find some scripts of some sort for some assistance? I studied Japanese for most of my school life but would just like to make sure I&#39;m understanding it all =_=

She&#39;s like Vash in terms of they both avoid killing, they both use revolvers, and they both act like airheads. I think there might be too much fanservice though. :/

I&#39;m chasing Yu Yu Hakusho. I&#39;ve seen most of it, but seriously, around episode 83 or so and up its hard to find. I looked for it at 3 different Hollywood Video stores, 1 blockboster, 2 libraries, even at the MALL, and they only have the dark tournament. I proceeded to search online, and they don&#39;t have it there either, unless I want to pay some ripped off prices. So I suppose I&#39;ll try ebay, or just continue searching online :(

I&#39;m also looking for the last 3 episodes of .hack//????, I forgot the name just now. Then there&#39;s samurai champloo and samurai 7, and bleach.

well... It&#39;s not exactly new, yet it is. Neon Gennis (sp?) Evangelion (sp?, harder than I thought) - platnum edition. They did a couple tweaks from the orginal, and audio is in 5.1 (yay&#33;).

Rozen maiden: Probably my favorite of this season. It&#39;s simple, but fun and has great atmosphere
Elfen Lied: My current obsession right now. Three episodes in and I&#39;m completely addicted. I don&#39;t find it to be that disturbing though. I get more of an "Ew" feeling from it.
Twin Spica: I&#39;ve seen one episode. It shows potential, but I&#39;m not that anxious to watch the next episode.
Kino&#39;s Journey: I got the last two DVDs from anime USA. I&#39;ll probably start watching again this weekend.
Kanon: I think I&#39;ll marathon this soon...

I finished it just today ^^ nice ending~ the overall storyline is good. Over-accessive use of blood, that&#39;s all -_-

now i&#39;m getting Mai Hime 5. Pretty interesting.

I&#39;ve finished FMP/Fumoffu a week or two ago and now I&#39;m pretty much in great anticipation of the FMP sequel which has, IIRC, been already announced. Although the series probably wouldn&#39;t be on my top 10 list, it definitely brings on a new kind of comedy which I found very interesting. Fumoffu is just plain comedy and currently I cannot stop playing the op/ed theme songs over and over -.-"

Another series I started watching which is kinda cool would be Bakuretsu Tenshi (sp?) a.k.a Burst Angel. I really like how the characters are drawn, the storyline seems pretty good too, and the girls in there aren&#39;t bad.

One series I have yet to start on would be Ai Yori Aoshi and Ai Yori Aoshi Enishi. There&#39;s a really good remix of the intro song by DJSharpnel and my brother borrowed the first dvd from the library. It seems to be a good series even though I have yet to watch a full episode myself. My brother says that it seems to be like Love Hina in a way.

About a few weeks ago I finished the series ROD TV and then watched the OVA. Although I did that totally in the wrong order it turned out OK. At first, I watched the series as a recommendation from a friend who knows a lot about and has way too much anime. At first it seemed pretty boring, especially in episode one but towards the end I was up on my seat and practically nuts over the series. I couldn&#39;t get enough of their powers... it was crazy. Yomiko is the coolest person ever -.-" Hence my new avatar.

Chobits... not my kinda anime I guess... =&#092; I don&#39;t see how anyone could compare the Chobits style of Anime to the Love Hina style of anime but then again I haven&#39;t seen the whole Chobits series yet but still...

I don&#39;t know how anyone could compare Chobits and Love Hina, either.... The situation is sort of similar (horny male among beautiful females) and you might think the series is more similar when you look at some pictures and that, but really they&#39;re very, very different.

Oh, and I seem to always be playing those opening and closing themes from fumoffu... they&#39;re great ^^* I love Mikuni.... :P

I thouroughly enjoyed Chobits - just finished watching it today - and though I was a little concerned by all the porny references at the start, thankfully they faded off and the storyline became much more detailed. It&#39;s a beautiful anime, too (if you like BESM) but the lack of detail to the eyes frustrated me every so often, though they did something interesting with that at the end that made it all a bit more worthwhile.....

Umm.. I finished watching Inuyasha today, too... Damn, I was sooo hoping that the series would actually finish (my money = gone) but, no, they decided to draw it out even more.... I hate to say it, but I&#39;m starting to get a little bored... which is so sad, because I really do love Inuyasha. I think the anime people are beginning to look at it only as a source of money, which is sad because it&#39;ll become what they did to Sailor Moon - one big pile of repetitious episodes with the main, half decent storyline episodes only taking up about four (two at the start, two at the end...)

Anyway, I&#39;m thinking about getting hold of Wolf&#39;s Rain... That looks weird and is on special at the moment :) Is it worth the money, peoples?

Been watching Kanon for the last 4-5 days.

I just purchased the third installment of the newest, infamous neon genesis: evangelion platinum edition. so I&#39;m watching it vicariously for the first time through one of my friends who hasn&#39;t seen it.

I am now addicted to Genshiken. It&#39;s a little perverted but it&#39;s awesome so far...

I&#39;ve seen some episodes of Tsuki Hime, Spiral, Haibane Renmei, Last Exile and Full metal panic, I&#39;ve seen Ayashi no Ceres, Escaflowne and the movie, Fushigi Yuugi, D.Nangel, X/1999, Happy Lesson and advance, Da Capo, Sugar Fairy, Ragnarok the animation, Love Hina umm....and many more....o wait that&#39;s all, so far. Hehe&#33; :doh:

I&#39;m still watching Inu-yasha and Witch Hunter Robin.

I recomend that you should see Spiral or Tuskihime, they&#39;re both fantasy and mysterious, if your into mysteries/cases, blood and magiccal animes, then you&#39;ll love those animes&#33;

Mai Hime&#33; ^^ it&#39;s a good series&#33;

and just started on Mahou Sensei Negima~ first episode out&#33;&#33;

edit: It seems Mahou Sensei Negima is quite popular, since there&#39;s three fansubs subbing it- ishin-anime, freedom-anime and animeforever

Neat... I&#39;ve been keeping up with the manga. Must see this one...

i&#39;m gonna start watching all those new 2005 anime series ^^ so far, i&#39;m starting Air TV, Mahou Sensei Negima, Peach Girl, and Xenosaga~

i guess the only series i&#39;m currently bothering to continue watching are Twin Spica, Melody of Oblivion, Tokyo Mew Mew, and Tales of Phantasia.

Impressed by Air&#39;s animation. It&#39;s good, but considering how there&#39;s only one episode, the story line isn&#39;t exactly clear yet.

BUT it&#39;s still good~&#33; It has the Kanon style, and Kanon was a good anime ^^

Xenosaga the ANIMATION started this month i think... the story of the anime is pretty accurate (they take most of the lines right from the game), but the characters look... really awkward... the way they&#39;re drawn is unlike the way they actually look like in the game =/

btw- did AIR start out as a dating game? cuz that would explain a lot of stuff... i only tried out the series cause Kawakami Tomoko was one of the main characters&#39; seiyuu (bad reason right?) ^^;;

well, the game which it&#39;s based on does rather revolve around naked people and perverted actions :P. though, it&#39;s not really by the same creators of kanon (the anime) anymore, since toei is no longer in and a bunch of other studios joined (Commitee for the Legend of Winged Beings? wtf?). as part of my anti-Key policy though, i refuse to watch air >.>

what else... well, champloo finally started running again, and that&#39;s a Good Thing. yakitate is freakily weird and hilarious, though the manga worked better with all the "egg white" jokes :P. genshiken&#39;s almost ending, too bad... it was a fun series, though the adaption didn&#39;t work too well because there are too many "awkward pauses" in the anime. samurai 7 has gotten way boring. bleach is kinda dragging and adhering to the standard shounen "monster of the episode" formula, but i wonder how it&#39;ll turn out - is it even going to go into the shinigami arc? the OP/ED are great though. mai-hime, even as a show based on fanservice, is turning out to be pretty good, and i like it mainly for the characters, art style (very clean, which might look generic to some people), and heck, music. alyssa sings horrible engrish, though :P.

hahaha, I agree with the engrish sang by alyssa in Mai-HiME, i would never have been able to figure out the lyrics of the song without seeing the actual words. I&#39;ve only watched the first 2 episodes of Air, and it looks promising. The drawings are really pretty and since I really liked Kanon, I&#39;m quite sure Air would be good.

I downloaded Ultimate Girl ep 1, and... let&#39;s just say, after watching it, I deleted it and would not continue watching it. =_= Peach Girl *sounds a little strange by the title*... I downloaded the first episode to try it out, and it seems alright, so I&#39;ll keep going with it to see what happens~

Other than those... Yakitate Japan&#33; (I love the opening song&#33;&#33;&#33; ><) is another one I started and is currently chasing... and I&#39;ve yet to finish Rozen Maiden~

Hoshi no Koe brought up mixed emotions. one one hand, its short, animation is not that great... on the other hand, nice story

I plan to watch it this weekend.... but from what I&#39;ve seen so far *pictures, mokoto shinkai&#39;s interview regarding KnM etc..* it should be great.

i didnt like the way the girls face was drawn in certain scenes - everything else was superb. And the fact that Makoto Shinkai created it completely by himself is enough reason to see it ^_^

Well, I&#39;ve just bought Inu-Yasha volume 1 (which has FINALLY come out in Australia) and now I&#39;ve got a booklet advertising everything that&#39;s coming out and I want it all&#33;&#33;&#33;

I finished School Rumble a couple weeks ago. Okay this *really* isn&#39;t my usual type -- it&#39;s not all that mature and I don&#39;t usually settle for romance comedies -- but this series is damn funny&#33; Plus the few moments that really melted me. ^_^

Oh, Harima Kenji&#39;s the man.

The next thing I want to see is Love Hina, or possibly Azumanga Daioh... not too sure about Love Hina...

Whee, I&#39;ve seen episode one of Aishitereze Baby (I think that&#39;s how it&#39;s spelt)
and I&#39;m downloading the whole series of Pita Ten (27 episodes) because the four I&#39;ve seen aren&#39;t enough to satisfy the empty........ cuteness void XD

im pretty sure this is a new anime considering theres only 5 episodes and that it&#39;s incomplete but there&#39;s an anime called trinity blood. it&#39;s another anime about vampires. the music in it is really good, and the main character is soo much like vash the stampede and im sure they have the same voice actor as well

It is new :) And those were my thoughts exactly. However my favourite character thus far is Tres.

I found Trinity Blood to be a bit like an obscure mix of Hellsing and Trigun. Episode 6 got released yesterday XD The series is intriguing and I&#39;m looking forward to see more episodes.
