w00t w00t. I'm making a new comic series. Not comedy, but manga this time. Here's my first character:

I already have a guy (and his little brother) a cat-girl and an old man. I need suggestions for new characters. Anyone?

mm, well, we first need to know what type of manga you're makind (eg. action, adventure, drama, fantasy, romance.... etc)

There should be a comical character to relieve tension at times, or a cold and cool character similar to sesshoumaru. And maybe a character that has a strange perspective of things due to past experiences. Or maybe...... Blah, I can go on for pages, given the amount of manga i've read and anime i've seen 0_o

A Sesshomaru-esque character is vital for any anime, I agree with that. I havent gotten around to making a character like that though. :/

I wanted my comic to be somewhat like Tenchi Muyo; in the sense that the main character is a guy and most of the other characters are chicks. ;)

@ Lord Pent: Not being in control is half the fun of reading some else's work. Surprising others is half the fun of being on control. Nonsensical comments aside, if this is your first foray into a new medium, anything goes. I'll belabour the obvious: you'll get the feel for it later.

Helpful way of saying ^ : "It would help to clean up the pictures a little by not using such strong colours on everything. Also, an orange sky is kind of.... strange. And the red "blush spots" on Azumay are too big. Oh, and use the straight line tool to draw the building O.o"

Yeah that's what I was lookin for! Just kidding...but seriously I'm not...How can you call us ignorant! Being Ignorant is that you haven't had the chance to learn. To me, when I look at your comic, you seem mighty ignorant!! Because it's an atempt to manga doesn't mean one of the characters has to be a sext neko girl wearing tight clothes. Lets see... guy with open jacket, black pants, spikey hair with highlights, Hmm wher have I seen that one?!? You really need a scanner but then again I don't think it's going to affect the drawings that much. Where's the drama! where's the storyline! where's the action! where's the originality!... Okay it's just the first page...Where's the seconed!! You should release it chapter by chapter not page by page. Think of how you read a book: You don't read only one page a day! To sum this all up: Stick to comedy... and do better on it...
