Heehee, composed a second song while thinking about how to torture the person playing the song  :vampire: :governator: :DD

Song name's "Lefthand's Agony" XD

Still don't know how to make midis, I'll be sure to make them into midis when I learn how X_X

Try to keep all your songs in one thread, it makes the forum less cluttered. Anyways, I like your mentality, composing songs that torture the performer *evil grin* . . I may have done that too in the past, but I don't remember

Again, I couldn't print off the score nor did I play it on the piano, but a quick read through (this one was easier for me to hear than your first one) showed me that it was fun and exciting. However, I suggest that you look into expanding your harmony palette =)

what type of composition program do you use? if you use Noteworthy composer , I can help you make MIDI's. As for finale, they should have a tutorial in the help section which could probably answeryour question

I see... well, you can go to Noteworthy composers website and download the demo. In my opinion it's much easier to use than finale (but it was also the first one that I was introduced to). There is a few good loophole in the Demo version that might prove useful.

It allows you to save MIDI! all you have to do is click FIle and go to "Save as" and save it as a type 1 or type 0 MIDI. I don't really know the difference, so find that out for yourself.

It only allows you to save a file ten times, but after yor final save, you can just copy the score and paste it to a new file. now you got a clean slate!

but just in case that makes you feel guilty after a while (like it did to me) you can always buy it. last time I checked it's only about 40 bucks, which is very inexpensive compared to most others that I've seen.

WHOO! I just advertised something!

http://www.noteworthysoftware.com/composer/evaluate.htm is the download site!

Type 1 keeps each track to itself. Type 0 squeezes everything into one track (which is good to keep your composition from being copied easily). Also, you can Copy and Paste each track into another track line in a new file in case you ever run out of saves. That's what I used to do before I bought the program.

And you should add harmony like what Al said. =D
