/me is an otaku at heart, but living in the wrong place. And probably wouldn't be able to go to them anyways if there was one near me (parents hate anime =.=;;)

Cosplay....hmm, the time you put into making some costumes is a lot (like Lulu from FFX or making the armor for an Al cosplay from FMA), but in the end it&#39;s worth it when you get something good out of that much effort. Buying fabric, and if needed purchasing a wig and styling it (trying to keep the costume as accurate as possible), or making your own props, which could range from a sword like the shinigami&#39;s zanpakuto in Bleach to simple earrings. Yup, it&#39;s lots of fun in my opinion. Of course, it&#39;s hard to describe the feeling when you cosplay. It&#39;s all up to you if you ever decide to be in character (which is always best) when you dress up as whoever. But yeah I must pause on this topic, as I could go on for hours, but I have a class right now at 4 PM, so yup. Will talk more on that later ^___^

Last year I was unprepared, but this year I&#39;m ready to see it all. I can&#39;t wait for the 2005 Anime Expo. I&#39;m sorry for those that can&#39;t make it and best wishes in the future to be able to.

woo, fun day&#33; The Kotoko concert was awesome, and I shot about 350 exposures, mostly of cosplayers&#33; :D I&#39;ll be putting an album together once I have all my shots.

Milai, I&#39;ll be looking for you tomorrow&#33; You&#39;ll be gathering outside, right? I&#39;ve got "Aaron Zink" on my badge and I&#39;ll be wearing a gray t-shirt. Looking forward to the Maaya concert, woo~&#33;

AX update (if anyone cares XD )

The Bleach gathering was AWESOME&#33; Way more people than any other gathering.. I think there were at least 75-80 cosplayers, and they all did awesome jobs.

The Maaya Sakamoto concert was pretty cool. It lacked the energy of the Kotoko concert, but Maaya&#39;s songs are slower in general so that&#39;s to be expected. They also had some weird visualizations going on right behind her which was pretty distracting. However, she has a really beautiful voice, and it was really cool to hear it live. I was in the 2nd row so that helped too XD

Oh, and I met Milai finally&#33; yay&#33; :D

Heh, I didn&#39;t take as many pictures as I wanted. I was distracted by other things. This was my first AX. I spent &#036;245 on DVDs and AX stuff. I got several autographs. Two from Monica Rial for Burst Angel and Full Metal Panic&#33; Fumoffu (so funny) and Greg Ayres for Chrono Crusade. I also got the autographs of the entire R.O.D. The TV cast (minus Drake though) on my DVD set box. I must go next year and forever&#33; LOL

The only big event I attended was the Kotoko concert. I went to the ROD panel rather than to the Sakamoto concert. Probably wouldn&#39;t have been able to get a ticket anyway because I wasn&#39;t in the the convention center hotel block. I did sort of attend AX Idol for a few minutes, but left after the Count of Monte Cristo performance.

Oh yeah, I saw...Man Faye. On Monday, I heard lots of people talking bad about him and how he shouldn&#39;t be allowed to show up like that anymore.

And I heard a really good playing of Cruel Angel&#39;s Thesis on the piano in the Marriot. I wish I was that good, but I can only play the really simple stuff since I&#39;m not really a pianist.

Sounds totally cool&#33; Can&#39;t wait for the photos - then it&#39;ll feel like I was there after all XD

i went to both concerts&#33; lucky Gand got 2nd row...i was in the 10th row i think....for the kotoko and maya&#33;

i only got 1 autograph this year....from Kazue Yamamoto&#33;&#33; great artist of Izumo and etc&#33; i really wanted one from the hellsing....but the line was too long and they had to cut it.....
AMVs were great, and the hightlight of my trip was seeing a giant Kon from Bleach :D i took a pic of that for sure&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33; i even downloaded some of the amvs&#33; so funny&#33; watch Wizard of Ozaka and you&#39;ll laugh.Also, i got an Ichigo doll&#33; so cool&#33;

next year, i&#39;m going to the main events again. if i get lucky, mayb a few autographs&#33;

Here are the pictures I took. Unfortunately, I didn&#39;t take a lot of pictures at all. I should have but didn&#39;t for some reason. And most of them are dark. Heh, I need to learn how to use my camera. Geez, I better take a picture of everything next year. :heh:

Oh well, at least I got pictures of many voice actors, especially the R.O.D. The TV cast :D

Edit: By the way, those three pictures that have cuts on them are that way because that certain person did not want her picture on the internet.
