I have seen all 50 epsiodes already and its good. It gets better in Gundam seed destiny. Does anyone think so too????

I really like Gundam Seed. I haven't seen lots of Destiny yet, though. Omg I also hate Fllay! She is so evil and mean and a huge, huge LIAR! :ranting: *cough* uh... I like Athrun and Lacus though. It's a good show though. Probably one of my fave anime's I guess.

haha yeah, seed was great, i really like Destiny too. Altho i don't really like Shinn, Kira just got so freakin badass all of a sudden that it makes up for everything. He has some of the best entrances in any anime i've seen. My only problem with it is that...the characters seem to have de-evolved. They're still struggling with some of the problems that they already got over in the original. Especially, Athrun, im kind of dissapointed in how his character is developing, but STILL that's not enough to overshadow the GREATNESS of this series. ti's so....adrenaline pumping.

Latest episode of Destiny was awesome. SEED didn&#39;t seem to pick up until the end of 29, and since 24 Destiny has been pretty good. ^_^

Gundam Seed Destiny, is when soldiers from Zaft that survived Jakin Due and still believed in the path chosen by Patrick Zala set a device to Junius Seven that sets it into orbit around the Earth. Eventually it will hit the Earth and cause massive destruction. (Similar to Liberalis hitting the Earth in Gundam Wing) The current Zaft at the time had nothing to do with this operation, however the Earth takes this as a chance to obliterate the Coordinators. I loved Gundam Seed. Though, near the end, Kira spoke like everything was really hard, and he was really trying. But he looks like he would be better dozing off in the cockpit, it was better in the beginning where he was determined, and the author of Gundam Seed made him look like he was actually trying.

1) Strike Freedom, is possibly the most stacked, rigged Gundam ever. Funnels (or the DRAGOON system, whatever go away >_<), rail guns, two beam rifles which can be stacked together, the laser attatched the cockpit (?) and Wings of Light like Destiny (?)
Now imagine that, equipped with METEOR and having Kira in SEED mode. OVERKILL

2) Wtf, Kira is the Ultimate Coordinator, but also a Newtype? I think that's a little too much.

The flashing light above his head is something you see from Amuro Ray, or Char Aznable when he shouts, "Go Funnels!"

3) Having a Gouf and a couple of Zaku's destroy the Strike Rouge so fast with Kira piloting it must be a mistake. It comes to show how much stronger over time mobile suits have developed, but even Andrew did better defending the Eternal.

4) Hyping the Strike Freedom up so much just to have it destroyed by Destiny will be sad.

5) Show me Athrun's MGS Infinite Justice immediately!!! x_x

^"Who cares about Strike Freedom being so cheap" Fukuda screwed up GSD beyond visual recognition. It's no longer a Gundam series but a parody of it.

GSD is almost single handedly ruined by Fukuda, with some help from Morosawa our dear scriptwriter.

Fukuda first claimed that there will be no such thing as newtypes in the world of GS. Of course.. that was prooved bullshit in like the very first episode.
So he changes his wording a bit and says Kuruze and Muu are the last newtypes..
well make your bets on whether he's bulled again or not XD

Super Freedom and Knight(Night?) Justice.. a ripoff from Cyber Formula SIN, which was directed by Fukuda again, later they've changed names to Strike Freedom and Infinite Justice, stating that "some minor sources midlead the fans in the names of the new units". The Official GSD website was the one who published "misleading" names. This happend after a lot of fans sent in their hatemail to Fukuda too. Super Freedom sounds stupid. Strike Freedom sounds funny! (Hell Freedom and Justice by themselves made me crack up so much)

Sometime during ep 23~26.. Can't remember. When Impulse cuts through a murasame, it is suddenly replaced by STRIKE for a few frames. Error large enough that Fukuda should've redone the cut, but meh.. it was only 0.5 secs and who cares(old Seed had an ep where they showed Aile strike launch and mysteriously turn itself into Sword strike by the time its out of the ship) You know they recycle the scenes as much as they can in Fukuda's series, but hell, recycle a totalled unit that no longer exist?

Fukuda also have said that in GSD all nuclear-blah blah won't exist (or at least not until Destiny rolls out) but then in the very first ep, look at Impulse Launch..

blah blah blah.. copy paste the scene off ol' Freedom, the N mysteriously changes to Network a few eps later. Yay, a director who can't make his mind up about the work even after its aired.

Crap characterizations, Morosawa fucking with them again, Let's make Asuran the 'main character' etc etc for the whole first season. It stops after a lot of complaints, but then our hero Shin is just twisted maniac. Soon enough it seems that Shin will get less screen time again, with Asuran and Kira on some overly friendly reunion

Of course.. there are other things which make it crappy, (pathetic attempts to make reuse of old mecha designs(hey.. they even reuse the weapons used in old Gundam series, look at Destiny Gundam using Crossbone X-3's I-field with that generator in its hand, then go on to use Shining Finger with it. Strike Freedom's definitely the New Nu Gundam with its array of Twin Buster Rifles, Funnel, Twin Sattelite Cannon and a great big Triple Megasonic Cannon on its stomach!), generic character design(I swear they're mass-produced off some factory somewhere with the same body and same head and just get different hairstyles stamped on them) OP/ED that's gone so bad its defiling the forums just to talk about)

I won't go into conspiracy theories about Fukuda being in Tomino's plan to finally kill Gundam, but then he's definitely making fun taking the crap out of it(while being a very, very, very crap director who I would never want to see handle another anime ever again)

Must agree with Sakurah here, you seem to live on a dimension foreign to most of us..

A plot that went through multiple script writers, subsequently changing the "main character" just about every season(really.. Morosawa loves Athrun too much, Shinn was main character for like.. 10 episodes? out of 50..), with a rushed ending that can never be properly wrapped up cannot be good. Never.

At least seed was consistent. still, they're both too crap to have a "gundam" title.

Story.

C.E 77。4 years have passed since Kira Yamato and his comrades shattered Gilbert Durandal's ambition. Athrun, who became the represetative of the bridge that connects between the worlds, International Alliance (Eternity), was now spending busy days fighting against great number of terrorists who revolted against the current world, while searching for his best friend, Kira, who disappeared after the great war. And for my thoughts on Gundam Seed, it was Great, yup have the boxset and all 10 dvds, and the 3 dvd Movies with the boxset, and I'm currently trying to collect HG Models and the 1/100 Grade Models of Seed.

I've only seen an epi of Destiny (Fansubbed) and it was ok. though all my friends have spoiled it for me...So I really already know some key scenes in most of the series. Not all of it..mostly just the characters that diedx_x
