Does anybody else watch Lost here? :) It just started here in Australia and its taking the country by storm. The show is incredibly deep and extremely well planned and so I thought I might make a topic to discuss it!

Just please remember to put anything to do with story in a spoiler tag please. Also, anything regarding characterisation, theories or rumours also belong in spoiler tags! US is much further ahead then the rest of the world so just keep that in mind.

When I can ^_^ which is actally not very often, so I bug my friend who watches it and she tells me what's been happeneing and stuff....all I wanna know at the moment, is WHAT IS THE THING?!?!?!?!

this thread is quite old but what the heck. anyway, i watch Lost too. got attracted to it coz its from JJ Abrams, alias fan over here. cable tv in malaysia just aired ep3(yea, we're slow over here).

I've never really heard of it apart from Spiky and Maz talking about it. I don't think they even show it here in the UK.. :think: At least not on terrestrial television anyway.

Anyway, Lost is utterly the best - so there :bleh: Twists and mysteries at every turn, and I'm gonna be so annoyed if the UK don't pick it up and start screening it when I come back!

I have been obsessive about this show since they started showing those promotions ads about a month before they started showing it on air. Its just so addictive. :D

The season just ended in the USA, the ending was terrible, and know I cant wait untill fall when the next season start.

That show isnt as good in the start. If you really think its good in the begining, wait untill the season ends&#33;

P.S. When I mean "terrible", I ment it was VERY sad.

We have lost but I don&#39;t really have any interest in it XP

It&#39;s very interesting.. I watch it when I can. I&#39;m awaiting the next season to start. Hopefully I can pay attention and understand.

The new season is starting in like after this episiod they are re-running! Im so hyped!

i missed like epi's of lost last season and i got lost in the storyline.

so what do you think is happening? That's what I wanna know. I mean everything is so... correlated. Fun thing about this show is that... since I'm fluent in English and Korean... I can understand both english and what that Korean couples are saying without having to read the subtitles. I must say... some parts in subtitles are not correctly translated. But yeah... what's the deal with that "Dasmen" (spelling?) the guy wit a New Zealand (I think) accent?

Well, its because some words dont have a direct translation in English. Such as in Khmer, the word Soup (The O is said as in oh) mean "To pour over".

I got the same feeling from watching Tomb Raider...

And I thought Michelle Gonzales was dead since she said her seat was in the back part of the plane and if I remember correctly the back of the plane was broken off and crashed somewhere. And why are they showing all the flashbacks of each characters? One more question. How many seasons you think this show will last?

As long as you want. They could make it seem like only one episoid is left, but add a giant twist that fits in. You could make it a never ending series where no one ever dies and make it seem like it works.

Michelle Gonzales is who? I dont know their names...Theres the fat guy, the stoner, the complainer, the Iraqi, the Doctor, the Asian, the Asian lady, The French Chick...

Michelle Gonzales is her real name. I forget the character's name she plays. You will see her on the upcoming episode.

In response to Noir7's post in the other Lost thread. I don't watch it either. I heard about it just yesterday for the first time and it looks interesting.

My theory:
It was a government project that was so deadly they had to build a island just to do it and had to make a self destruct option if everyone died from it because it can be used as a deadly weapon. It did go wrong, but only a few people survived.

People periodicly crash onto the island, and to save the people from getting the exposed virus (or what ever) they kidnap the younger ones (only because they are easier to mold mentaly) vancinate them and keep them somewere safe. The people who do that are called the others...

BUT. Yet, a but. I am wrong. Later in the newst epi you see the theater clothes that the man in the forest wore. The one that the doc and lock met and had to give their guns to. And then the lady with the baby remembered seeing doctors doing an operation on her. Doesnt look that deserted..

My brothers theory:
The government is doing an expeirment to see how people will act when secluded from outside social life in a live or die situation. And toping it off they implant false memories into them.
