Alright, when it comes down to it I need some reccomendations on what to play for my gig.

I'm playing at a cocktail hour as backround music for a wedding. The lady that called me says she's looking for light jazz backround music. I've found some, but its not sufficent for one hour.

What kind of pieces would you reccomend? Getting the music is not a problem.

Are you playing with a group of people? and if so what instruments do you guys play?

I'm playing the piano only. I just need some titles and composers to go on. I'd ask my jazz band teacher, but we're on spring break.

Well if it's just you on the piano then I suggest getting something by Thelonious Monk.
