Well, firstly, i love choirs, but the problem is i like gorgian chants and classical choir, and are school acually sings realy gay songs(chrismas, summer, no classical) and now im stuck in it. i want to sing in latin and do gorgian chanting, its so cool........hehehehe.

I am sooo glad that in my chior I get to pick the songs we sing. HAHAHAHA... it's fun to be me.

I used to want to as well, haha, but meh. Um, so you're not having any luck? Well, you might want to broaden your search . . try looking into old churches, like cathedrals. Also check out college/university clubs. If all else fails, create your own group and invite people with similar interests to join.

OOOO! my teacher offerd me to play music on the piano for chior and do solos!!! (not happy) but its cool because on the piano y ou save music on it and you loop it so it sounds like a whole band or orchistra!!! ( the piano[or digital piano, but not kewboard] costed $8000 cheep, usaly like $10000...) i might want to but its sorta lame and weird.

im a a choir member. i go to an all guys catholic school so a choir is there al the time. i like it because we do many things. and we get to get out of class ALOT

yeah im in the same choir as klumzy for lyf3 ^^ . it`s pretty cool . we getta sing pretty good songs [ buht it suks at first cuz it takes time to learn the harmony part -____- x . we both sing the alto part heheh ] . it`s pretty fun too though -- klumzy for lyf3 sings great & loud ;) . heheh . we getta listen to the songs first then the whole class rates it and then we sing to good ones . the songs we sing are pretty cool 8] .

I'm a first soprano in my choir (made of freshmen this year). Ugh I hate them. One tried to pick a fight with me today. X_X We mostly sang contest pieces for our concerts and competitions.

I'km sor happy for next year though. I made chorale (made up of upperclassmen (very rare to have a sophmore in chorale))! This is more of a song and dance choir, and we sing old jazz and swing tunes. I helped accompany for them this year for Christmas, and boy was it fun. :D

i like my choir we do show choir and stuff. im a 2nd soprano and have been in various choirs for four years. my chorus always gets supriors (?) at district and state festivals and ive made all state the 2 years ive tried out. not to mention we went to america sings last week which was the bomb!

I'm a first soprano, but I had a horrible teacher last year (he forced us all to try and learn an entire Catholic mass. In like, a month and a half. For NOTHING!) and this year had to leave it for advanced courses...*siigh* Next year, though, I'm in choir again!

I'm in 2nd Soprano and I like it better than being in Alto or Baritone. It is so cool. Like I get to ditch class almost every day. That's because I'm also in band. I'm gonna try out for Honor Chorus this year. I have the music and tape already but boy, the notes go really high that I now understand why only a few Sopranos can make it in Honor Chorus. I think the highest that I've seen so far is the high A flat.I was so confident that I'd make it in Honor Chorus but when I saw that note I wasn't too sure anymore. The only thing that I hate in being in chorus is our music teacher is kinda mean but she's pretty fair. She said that if we miss the Christmas Concert on December 10 this year we're gonna get 3 hours of detention. She also said that she's being nice because if she was to be fair she'd give us more hours of detention, she's gonna give us however much time we spent in there. The songs we have to sing kinda sucks though. The songs are "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree," "Song of Hanukkah," "Silent Night," and "Witness." Seriously, she's got to be kidding me.

I don't sing, but I'd like to sing anime kind of music... for a guy lol

I was too shy in high school to join a choir, which is a shame because now i'd really like to sing :) :P

I play piano for the chorus, and when I hear them, it makes me wish I could sing. :cry:

The worse thing is, the pieces my choir director chooses to sing are soooooooooooooooooo high, its like the falsetto chorus XD

I sing in a choir, soprano... But we sing these gospel songs that African american people did I think. I am not sure, but my friend said so, but it is kind of boring cause most of the songs are about bashing guys and how they are useless and woman don't need them.

i do enjoy choir thoughm even though i have to sing like a woman.....x_x

If it gets you by in the class and you sound, shouldn't you do it? It is whatever your vocals can stand. ^^
