Hey! I'm new to the site, but was looking for some comments on my newest stuff. I've never had lessons with piano, but have always been a fan of music. I taught myself to play about two years ago and have numerous original as well as unoriginal pieces. Please share with me what you think!:

My very first song: http://www.geocities.com/carrotocn/oldsong.wav

A faster version of my first song: http://www.geocities.com/terranediger/fastsong.wav

A song I wrote for a wedding (but never performed because I wasn't happy with it): http://www.geocities.com/jake122122122122/...g-Feb1-2005.wav (http://www.geocities.com/jake122122122122/Jakesong-Feb1-2005.wav)

I will post more later, but would like comments on just a few before I post more of my work! Please right click and save so I wont lose too much bandwidth...and if anybody can, please host me! =]. Thanks alot.

The pieces sound pretty nice, but the recording quality leaves much to be desired. It sounds like you are recording a MIDI keyboard using a crappy computer mike. Try to get a midi cable so that you can hook it up to your comp and record directly from there w/o noise, and perhaps use a nice piano sample and make an audio version as well. Also, I couldn't access the last one; try using the board's upload features. It'll let you upload a file up to 5 or 6mb per post.

Wow, fast song is pretty good! And you only taught yourself how to play two months ago? Good job! Didn't expect your piece to be so short though. How about expanding it?

The other song I can't download for some reason.
