Moulin Rouge! is about a love between Christan (Elwen McGregor) and the most beautiful girl the world has ever seen...I forget her name but she is played by Nicole Kidman, kept hidden behind the curtains of the opera stage from a selfish man who wishes to keep the girl to himself by force and suspects them both of havinh an affair. It is filled with fantastic music and the script is really great! If you have seen Moulin Rouge! what's your opinion about it? If you haven't, GO AND SEE IT!!! Hehe :D

I love how the action off-stage mirrors what happens on-stage. The music is very fitting too, although I don't remember the songs (been a year since I saw the movie) . . great camera work too! The beginning sequence, going through the streets of Paris before/after, is such a contrast.

I LOVE Moulin Rouge :D It's seriously one of my fave movies - Come What May is such a gorgeous duet, I really need to nag my friend for the sheet music as she has it all ^_^ I loved Toulouse and his cronies and the whole movie was very well pulled off - kudos to Baz Luhrmann for a VERY good film!

Haha, I just "proper" grammar and spelling is strictly used among members of Ichigo's huh? Then maybe I should really start paying attention to my English class then...and at least participate but hey!! She (just using my impulse) really loves Moulin Rouge as I do...or rather more 'cause she wrote how much she loves it in a "oh my god!!" type of thing, eh? :D

(Is it against the rules to post something against a Administrators or Moderators reply? I think it is, if your trying to pick a fight but hey I'm sorry!! I can't help arguing, it's just a thing I grew up with, I like to help others out and stick to my beliefs...Please don't kick me out...or ban me, or ban my IP adress, or anything please, please, please!!)

hahahaah but dont worry, seems that some people get that mistake. no worries its cool =D

and i think its ok to post something against mods and admins. just dont offend them or anything. you dont want them to get cranky!!
like make your opinion or whatever, but dont talk back, if that makes sense

also, im not sure, but when i saw the movie (at the movies) i remembered that at the end, when the evil dude walks out he finds that gun in the snow, and he kills himself...
but when i bought the dvd he does not of the such. he only walks out and thats it...
i told me bro what i rememberd, he said "i dont remember, but it kinda makes sense..."

Maxium is a men's magazine. No wonder they put it at #15...

I didn't see Moulin Rouge in theatres, I presume you mean the Duke right? In the Come What May reprise the gun falls in the aisle and he picks it up and tries to shoot either Christian and/or Satine, but Harold punchs him. As Satine dies at the end you see The Duke just leaving the Moulin Rouge. I wonder if the scene you described exists, I would like to see it if it does...

The last scene I remember before it goes back to present-day Christian is everybody back stage, then the camera pans upwards, and you see the cheering crowd, then you still see the Duke walking away outside.

yeah, thats what happends. but i dont know why, i just remembering them showing him also walking outside into the snow, and he sees the gun lying in the snow, so he takes it and shoots himself (they dont show him shoot himself. he puts the gun at his head, then they quickly go back inside where everyone is clapping so that you cant hear the gunshot)

Ummm, I'm not sure, it's a song that's what I know and something that people with great voices use to do back in the 1900-1950's.

One of my fav movie!

I really didn't know that Ewan McGregor has such a wonderful voice, epsacially by Come What May reprise. He gets higer again and again I was so surprised. Nicole did a great job too, I was more impressed by Ewan. The decor was beautiful and El Tange de Roxanne, amazing! Looooooove it!

And oh yeah, Nicole Kidman calls Satine :D

Totally Felicia!! I love El Tange De Roxanne and I was also surprised, maybe even more surprised than a horror movie, that he had a wonderful voice!! Was that his originally or did he have to be taught before he could shoot the movie...? Oh well!! Point is, Wow...
