I am currently in the process of acquiring the series... A friend of mine said it's good. Anybody care to share their opinion? I'll check any responses when I get back...

Well, everybody says that it has too many similarities to Evangelion, but if you lok at the series on its own merits, it's pretty good. I quite like it personally... :heh:

even tho i dont really get the ending of eva....but i watched a few of Rahxephon and it was pretty good.

I'm getting the series as we speak :whistling: Used to boycot it though, since people said it was an Eva rip-off :heh:

It still seems like an Eva-Rip-off to me. I've watched it through many times, and not matter how many differences I find, it still screams Eva to me.

Well, there was a bit of reference to eva, but a nice story line and great characters...

though its still too confusing :sweatdrop: I have about 100000 questions ^_^

I'd definitely agree with you there. No idea what a "moltos" is though. Hemisphere is actually the reason I watched this series...

After starting to watch it again i realized how ridicules it really is <.<

molto means much. moltos is an attempt at mocking people who bastardize foreign words via emulation. so moltos superior is like "omigod, so much better".

those were pilots, at least Ibuki and Huygo were grownups, along with everyone else. Here, we have Meg, sitting at the control desk and giving orders

OMG, I found an older RahXephon thread&#33;.... ,>_<

RahXephon is my favorite anime, And like that person who watched it only because of Hemisphere, I did too....And because I saw the trailer of it on my "Voices of a Distance Star" DVD.............. :drool: RahXephon...

Yeah It is Very good, but hey if you are into the big robot thing this is the one I would recomend ^_^

I dont really think RahXephon would really fit into a Mecha anime area if you look closly at it. Its a god that you can controll, so its more of a fantasy/sci-fi.

i just say rahxephon the movie. i have two things to say. one, the scene were the dude kills the gal hes trying to protect is cruel, and i though the movie was sad and depressing because of it. second. " STOP YOUR SINGING AND DIE " kicked arse, so got over the sad and depressing part. but i think its a evangelion ripoff too. i just saw the end of evangelion movie ( im in to movies these days ) and that was weird, peculiar, strange, uncanny, unearthly, odd, queer, quaint, outlandish, singular, eccentric, curious. (go me for synonyms of weird ) freaks me out i say!

I think RahZephon gives somthing that evangelion didnt. The art is better, music is way better, and is made by alot of famouse people too.

I have seen the series and I loved it XD I wanna see the movie.....*searches for torrents and the DVD stores*
I have also read the manga XD its VERY different from the anime but nice nevertheless XD where in the anime Quon is a Performer, in the manga she is rather like a guide ^^

Im really sad. After looking at multiple stores for about 3 months, all the stores have is Vol 3, 4 and 6...I need 2! I only have Vol 1...

I have never seen RahXephon and never plan on seeing it! It definetely doesn't seem like my kind of anime. That said though *sways to the Garden of Everything* I love the music! I've got to somehow acquire myself an OST or 2.

it falls into my top ten category, which is saying a lot considering i've seen a lot of anime, but i don't think it's as good as evangelion, but it is really really good. the movie was a slight let down... but ya know... o well
