Star wars III is coming out soon and i want to watch it real bad. # I and II arnt so good, so do you think III will be good? from what ive seen on T.V it hase emotion (what I and II lacked) the graphics ( What all of them had, but this is the best [duh]) and might have the best story so far of any movie (i havent read the books so yeah) and is the game good too? my favorite is 6 by far!

Th original trilogy is the best, the new ones all suck and 3 will most likely suck too (but at least they have Vader, which is good).

I preferred the old series but the new series has cooler weapons and graphics. Plus the new movie is a chance to take my gf out onna date haha

Episode I and II are more like graphics demos.

III will probably be just the same...

but its worth watching it, just to see and hear Lord Vader again...

I heard that at the time of Episode VI, Lucas actually planned to make a planet full of wookies, but the capabilities of the time didnt allow him so he made those cheap small creatures. Now he's gonna fulfill his dream with the wookie planet in III

A wookie planet would have been heaps better than those darn Ewoks <_<

i dissagree, i loved those fighting teddy bears. Wookies arent very subtle, cant realy get a sneak attack in
'ooou chubchub'

Episode I was ok. It wasn't that spectacular, but "Duel of the Fates" is my favorite piece of music in all of the movies. Episode II was abismal. Haydn Christensen may not be the worst actor I've ever seen, but he's unique in his inadequacy. He manages to over and under-act at the same time. He can be overly hammy and still convey no emotion. I expect nothing more from him in III.

I've been visiting the local bookstore and I've read as many pages as I can of the official novelization, haha . . and well I can't account for the acting and special effects, but plotwise, it seems pretty good to me so far!

Yeah. This is the big one where he ties the two trilogies together so really, he should be able to stuff the plot up too much. I'm just hoping he sticks to his original plot, as in the backstory that was already developed back when the original trilogy was released, such as:
Show spoiler (javascript:void(0);) Obi-Wan and Anakin's lightsaber battle over a lava pit in which Anakin leaves scarred and burnt, forcing him to live his life using a respiratory device and cloaked in the infamouse suit of Lord Vader. And if they plan on actually using Chewbacca, that we get to see Han Solo actually receiving his life debt from the hairy giant .
I was a big fan of the original series, and these were explainations from the big man himself, so yeah. I only plan on seeing the movie for the inter-connectivity and see if Lucas might actually pull it off.

But, my outlook for that actually happening is pretty dismal. When I heard more then 80% of the film was shot on bluescreen, there goes 'my only hope'.

its not that bad - most movies are shot that way only because its cheeper; thought a lot of people are saying that it has the longest action scene in movie history
I doubt we'll see Han Solo... pity! hell, the Star Wars trilogy owns half of its success to Harrison Ford - damn good actor!!!

Star Wars!!! *Pulls out lightsaber* Whoosh, whoosh!! *Deflects shots* Ping!! Ping!! Ping, ping , ping!! The movies are way cool!! I'm looking foward to watching it when it comes out because of the graphics (heh :heh: ). I might even go to the convention and get the exact clothes, from the movie itself of Mace Windo (is that how you spell his name..? Oh well it doesn't matter!!) And get a specially designed, air motion sensored lightsaber that makes the exact sound when I move it around!! Hehe, the geeks there are going to be so jealous!! :D (Though it may seem I'm a dork too.) :D

...well...I am ashamed of myself...but still, I like the idea of me doing that!! Hehe, it would be fun running around with better, from the movie, life-like costumes and lightsaber to show off to all those "geeks" (geek is a good word, nerd is the bad word...look it up) how better I am, in both acting, designing and money making.

P.S,
"Never underestimate the power of the Dork (Dark) Side." Well, I also meant to add that I was gonna be on the Light side...so yeah...

I just came back from seeing it. MUCH better than Episode II. It's 4:30 AM where I am, and I need sleep. I'll talk more about it tomorrow. Or rather, later today.

Cardboard tube from tin foil? seriously cheap method thats not very convincing, its how most did it when young, this is for cosplayers with no budget of course

The original triology was definitely the best. The first two didn't have enough fighting and intensity. This one has (I saw it yesterday). I heard that people cried when they saw it.
